Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsThe room was a bit noisy and we could listen to the cars outside. The hotel mentioned having a shuttle to the airport, but it costs 20 euros (and a taxi or ubber is much cheaper).
The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was a good size. Breakfast was good, and the location was great.

AngolaThe height of the sink... I'm not that tall, I'm 1.82m tall, and the sink was well below my waist and when I wanted to wash my face, I had to kneel down to avoid splashing water all over the toilet.
Quite comfortable.

PortugalAlthough it is one metro line from the airport, the station is a bit too far from the hotel when we have big suit cases and tired from the flights. It is not far enough to get a ride share driver to pick us at the airport, which was like a zoo when we arrived
The staff are friendly, room is spacious and clean. Free water and cokkies are nice touch. If we did not find this hotel as an "airport hotel" I would have rated higher. I guess it is not the hotel's fault though...

CanadaThe hotel was located in a nice neighborhood with many pastry shops, snack bars, restaurants and a great supermarket. Convenient street parking at 3.20 euros for 2 hours and free after 7pm so no need to park the car in the hotel at 15 euros per day. The metro station was an 8 minute walk so very convenient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was in the renovated side of the hotel. It was spacious, comfortable and very clean. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Lisbon.

Finland”Shuttle to the airport” is a service they provide and you have to pay cash… it is less expensive to take a uber or Bolt. Breakfast with more sweets than other things and the coffee did not taste good.

Czech RepublicThis time I made the mistake to reserve a room with the "very good" breakfast, too. Unfortunately, the breakfast does not reach the standards of a 4-star hotel (no fresh juice, no fried eggs, no quality honey, etc); better to take a common breakfast in a cafe bar outside. Moreover, the breakfast starts at 7, which is too late if you have an early flight (no alternative provided).
This is a very pleasant hotel, within a walking distance to the Entrecampos railway station, where I like to come back regularly. The staff accepted my request to be moved to a higher (quieter) room.

CanadaLast night in Lisbon so perfectly located with short 13 min drive to airport. Lots of grocery stores, shops and restaurants nearby within walking distance. Rooms were modern. Bed comfortable and nice sheets/pillows. Parking overnight at hotel is 24 Euro but you can park on the street for free from 7pm to 9am and it’s not hard to find a spot.

United StatesMy only real complaint is the air-conditioning being quite weak. It was warm but not suffocating - the bed's blanket was too heavy for the weather. I believe this is due to EU-wide restrictions on hotel air-conditioning, nonetheless it was my only real complaint.
Very nice, small, neat hotel in the heart of Lisbon. Comfortable room, great bed, nice layout. Fast internet helped along with nice setup for work. Location on charming street couldn't have been better.

LebanonThe location is nice but far from the center.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel during the Easter holidays. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. Our room was clean, and well-maintained throughout our stay. A special highlight was the thoughtful gesture on Easter Day, we were delighted to find Easter chocolate and a kind wish note left for us in the room. These little touches made our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend this hotel to others.
