The bathroom facilities could be better. In particular, the toilet seat had yellow stains on it, it probably hasn't been replaced or deep cleaned in ages. The toilet brush was not super new or clean either. The air conditioner, although fully functional, is installed in a odd place - very low right opposite the bed. If you keep it on at night, it blows cold air directly at you, which can be unpleasant.

My stay was rather good and the room was fairly comfortable. I liked the responsiveness of the host, the location, and the fact many useful things were provided (coffee and tea maker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer). I also really appreciated the availability of lockers where one can leave luggage.

When we arrived Matilde was already outside waiting for us. Whilst we were a little bit early, the room wasn't ready, which we didn't mind & Matilde recommended a lovely little cafe round the corner & that nicely marked the beginning of a wonderful 3 day stay in the wonderful city of Porto. Thank you Matilde & thank you to your colleague (sorry we didn't get her name) but you were both lovely, helpful & accommodating, even after we checked out & needed to leave our bags for collection later, we were given a secure code to recollect them later which was so helpful as we spent pretty much another full day exploring this lovely city without having to lumber our bags in the hot sun.Thank you again ladies for everything - WE'LL BE BACK!

A good option for the price. We walked to the city centre and took the bus. It was clean, wi-fi worked well. There were a kettle and a coffee machine.

Parking was a bit difficult to find at times, but if you know that in advance and it's no big deal. The spaces in the area are free so that's a bonus.

For two small people there was enough space, but the room might be a little small for basketball players.

The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing to complain about. Parking in front of the house was tolerated. There is a nice market about 10 minutes away.

Coffee machine was out of order ... a bit noisy at night.

Good value for money - came with friends and enjoyed the possibility to park nearby - really nice typical pasticceria not far which was perfect for breakfast and metro was quite close. In the end we decided to walk down to the historic center and it took us about 30 minutes to get down to the river side. The apartment was very clean and well decorated. Enjoyed the cosy atmosphere.

Kitchen with no basic things like salt, pepper, oil, etc. For three days only 2 tea bags and 2 capsule coffee for two people. Too dark in the room in the evening, not enough light. Freezer doesn’t work. Hard to close one of the curtains, because it’s broken.

We liked the use of space in the layout of the apartment. Location was good with a 25 minute walk to Porto centre. We were able to park our vehicle on the road and leave it there for our stay.

I would have liked to have an extra blanket for the bed. The comforter was not quite warm enough for the cool nights.

I like the area of the property- cobbled street, walking distance to the art district, beautiful parks nearby and locals are friendly. There is an excellent Sashimi restaurant nearby.

Any travellers coming by plane or train for a short stay will not be bringing dishwasher tablets as a priority. One dw tablet for 3 nights is insufficient. A basic level of condiments would have been helpful without adding undue cost to the host's profit margin.

Easy access and communication with host. very comfortable beds. Host very approachable when hot water in taps seemed to be tepid. Matter resolved quickly to allow a hot shower as my husband had medical needs that necessitated a good hot water supply.
