Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomLiterally absolutely nothing. I can't fault it. The worst thing is that I didn't stay another day.
Absolutely incredible stay. Staff are dedicated to your wellbeing and enjoyment. This was as much an eye opening and informative stay, as it was luxurious , beautiful and relaxing. The unlimited breakfast is cooked to perfection. I cannot believe it was included in the bed price. Dinner is very reasonable considering too. The museum... Wow! If you ever get the chance to visit bethlehem, you would seriously be missing out not to stay here. And I say this having stayed in the cheap accessible room...

BelgiumThe walls around it 😉
When we arrived, the warm welcome we received was unlike any other. The staff was incredibly friendly and promptly escorted us to our room. They provided us with detailed explanations, ensuring our stay got off to a great start. What was particularly surprising was the affordability of everything on the premises, which was unexpected given the room prices. The museums and gallery added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. Unfortunately, our visit coincided with a period of conflict, but the staff continued to look after us, ensuring our safety and well-being. Despite the challenging circumstances, I still wholeheartedly recommend visiting this hotel. It’s a testament to the fact that you don’t need to fear visiting Bethlehem even in the current situation. I would highly recommend it and look forward to returning in the future. A special thanks to Bisher and Marouan for their exceptional service.

IrelandJust a minor suggestion and that is that the hotel could develop a slightly bigger food menu.
Everything about the hotel is unique, in a very positive way. The artwork and hotel's design is an obvious stand out Which we connected to straight away. But this hotel goes way beyond that, the staff are wonderful and made us feel really welcome. The room we stayed in was really comfortable and incredibly designed. But the important thing is the message that this hotel represents. We look forward to staying here again.

IsraelNothing- apart from the fact there’s a big wall…
The breakfast was incredible (and HUGE). I found the whole trip exceptionally educational, and they set me up with a fab tour guide Marwan who took me along the wall. The museum really opened my eyes too. A must see if you, like me, went to discover more about the wall!

United KingdomDinner menu was limited and really similar to the menu they offer throughout the day.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was super nice and funny. The hotel is full of art, you can discover something interesting at every corner. There is even a museum and art gallery, both quite informative. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel also organises local tours of the area. Hotel easy to reach from Jerusalem.

United KingdomThere’s nothing I didn’t like.
Loved everything. A one of a kind hotel I’ve recommended to everyone I’ve spoken to since. As soon as we checked in we visited the museum. It hit me so hard I came out crying. The staff were very polite and hospitable. Ricardo was so very kind and let me borrow his phone charger adapter because I had none…and I forgot to return it! I feel awful. I promise to send it back in the mail. We experienced two very different rooms, both with incredibly comfy beds. We got just a taste of what it’s like to be walled in, trapped. Alaa, the famous taxi driver of The Walled Off hotel is the G.O.A.T- a good, trustworthy man. The best taxi driver in Bethlehem. He treated us like family, just as all the locals did. I can’t stop thinking about our incredible, eye-opening experience at this hotel. My heart beats for Palestine. We’ll be back soon.

Obviously due to the fact it was the Banksy connection I made the effort to come to a “war torn zone” ( or as the news would present it) … I learned so much ! The staff and locals made my trip, lovely and friendly , I strongly advise to go on the refuge camp walk and make your mind up

AustraliaBathroom in dorm could do with better ventilation as became very hot when door closed.
Staying at Walled Off Hotel designed by Banksy opposite the Separation Wall in Bethlehem was, to be expected, a unique experience. Stayed in dorm rooms and these were very clean and comfortable. Decor was incredible and museum inside hotel was fascinating. Breakfast mainly pastries and drinks. Staff were super attentive and professional. Definitely recommend if visiting Bethlehem for a one of a kind experience.

Hong KongThere is no television and water kettle in the room. But we are fine with it as we don't normally watch TV anyway, and there is hot tea and water to serve at the corridor. In general, there is nothing we don't like.
The hotel lobby, the hotel rooms and even the corridor are all so special and in style with so much details. You would even find meaningful wordings from the label of shower gel and shampoo provided. The room is spacious and clean, the view of Palestine separation wall is very unique. The breakfast is very nice and traditional. The museum and the gallery are very informative and meaningful. The staffs are friendly and helpful. As a big fans of Banksy, we were just too excited to visit this hotel and we would say it is one of the best hotel in the world.

GermanyThe price is high given the prices in Bethlehem and of course the hotel trades on Banksy's name to justify but it really is spectacular site. The only thing we were not amazed by was the food, we ate much better for much less in the city but found the dinner and snack options a bit overpriced and lackluster. The breakfast had a really great variety and was presented well, though again not as tasty as thing we had eaten in more casual, "local" places.
Absolutely brilliant concept and execution. The artworks around the hotel, the details in the room, the information provided by the hotel is really incredible. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the room and all the details around the hotel. We also took a walking tour along the wall with Marwan which was amazing to get some more details and see the AIDA camp. The museum in the hotel is a must, even for those not staying at the hotel, and the art exhibition was fantastic. We spent Saturday evening at the museum, reading and buying books from the library and listening to beautiful traditional live music! Only caution to give from my experience: be careful when leaving Tel Aviv airport with Palestinian political novels, they were not thrilled at my purchases... but I have no regrets!
