How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Water pressure in the shower could have been stronger.
The room is small, but comfortable, and you have everything you need. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's within walking distance from both the railway station and the old town. There are great coffee places nearby, for instance, at Taczaka street. And right across the street, there's an awesome shopping mall converted from an old brewery.

Was a bit noisy till really late because of pub (or restaurant) on the opposite side of the street. Had to keep windows closed because of this.
Location is very good. About 15 minute walk to train and bus stations. About 15 minute walk to city center. Very nice that you can have free coffee or tea also at times when kitchen is not working. And enjoy it on the balcony. Room with 4 single beds available - not many hotels offer this.

My room was not ready on arrival. The staff was very friendly and handled it quite quickly. But the room was not that clean, maybe because it was cleaned in a hurry

The rooms are not soundproof, and you can hear all the traffic, trains, and ambulances until well past midnight.... for me, it's a big downer... Plus, breakfast is not as good as it was a year or two ago...
The staff was very friendly, room spacious and clean, and comfortable beds.Great location.

I would absolutely rate this hotel as 5/5 if there hadn't been one issue… Via booking, I have paid over 270pln for a single room, and when I checked in, I noticed the price on the tag was 150pln. This is such a huge difference that made me feel like I was being cheated. See the attached photo with the actual prices.

While the stay was enjoyable overall, one noticeable downside was the wet and slippery floor in the room upon arrival, which could be a safety issue. Despite this, the hotel provided good value and convenience for a short stay in Poznań.
Hotel Traffic Poznań Stare Miasto offers an excellent base for exploring the city, thanks to its prime location near the central station and major bus stops. Most attractions are easily accessible on foot, making it ideal for travelers who prefer to explore without relying on transport. A warm welcome with complimentary candies at the reception added a charming touch to the check-in experience.

No lift. Problematic as I had heavy luggage.

The room was clean and comfortable. They have a kitchen on the top floor where you can make tea or coffee. They even have a terrace for smokers. The breakfast was tasty and varied. We highly recommend

The room did not have air conditioning or temperature control. Ear plugs were provided and worked well while sleeping with the window open. Signage on the property made it difficult to find the first time.
Great location between the train station, Stary Bowar, and old town square. Easy walking around the city. The breakfast had a good variety especially including Polish dishes. Room was a good size with a refrigerator and safe.

Would have been nice to have fresh fruit as a breakfast option. The room was quite noisy just due to the location of the hotel - with the window shut you might be fine but be aware there is no aircon so it would be hot in summer months. We had an issue with our shower - reported it to reception three times in total and it was never sorted despite promises it would be done!
Good location - easy to walk into the main square, next door to a shopping centre with food court and a fifteen minute walk from the station. Room was a decent size and breakfast room was clean and big enough to accommodate guests.
