SingaporeThere’s apparently no kettle or tea/coffee given in at least the single rooms, although it’s advertised otherwise on the website. So visitors will have to request for kettle (only) if they need hot water, but no complimentary tea/coffee. Ventilation in the bathroom is also somewhat limited, especially after taking hot showers, so condensation builds up easily. Good to leave the bathroom door open most of the time so that the bathroom can dry faster.
Very clean, modern facilities. Appreciate the space given for solo travellers. Heating for the shower worked well, and the wifi connection also had no issues. Friendly staff, and thorough cleaning services provided.

It was very clean and comfortable. The bedsheets were very nice and the location of the hotel, just a short walk to the centre. There was no window in our room but we had everything we needed. They also prepared a really nice early breakfast for us to take it away.

MalaysiaAs other guests have mentioned, the WiFi is really frustrating. I was staying on Level 1 and couldn't get a proper internet connection - both my laptop and phone kept showing "connected without internet access." The receptionist was really patient and tried to help me fix it, but we couldn't get it working. This was pretty disappointing since I was on a work trip and needed reliable internet. Definitely something the hotel needs to address.
The hotel is strategically located within walking distance of the city center. Despite the central location, the hotel maintains a quiet atmosphere that I found quite relaxing. The staff is nice and helpful. One thing worth highlighting is the bedding - it is comfortable and I slept much better here than at other hotels I've stayed at. The hotel looks newly renovated. The breakfast is delicious although it comes with limited choice; it covers the basic. There are many good restaurants near by, and Ewe Hai Street easily accessible on foot, so I never went hungry. The vintage-style room key was a charming detail that I appreciated.

A very clean hotel. Nice location. Very good staffs. I requestes for a quieter room which they entertained. Depending on the number of guest, if the occupancy if too low, the buffet will be converted to ala carte, but the food is still good.

SingaporeThe room doors operate with a traditional lock and key which were tricky to use. However, we managed to figure out how to not double-lock our door with help from the staff. There was a little mix-up with the ala carte breakfast where a member of my party was served a beef sausage despite stating she did not take beef, but otherwise the food and service were good.
Friendly, professional and helpful staff, clean, spacious and comfortable triple room, modern bathroom with good facilities, convenient location walkable to the riverfront area. Breakfast was delicious, but as there were few guests at the hotel during our stay, the buffet spread was smaller than expected, and the buffet was converted to an ala carte breakfast on our last morning.
