Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdom- Check in experience was not great. We were not explained anything about the property properly and we had big luggages and nobody to help us. Not a great experience. - I would expect some better monitoring for a 5 start hotel. I read reviews that there were people selling drugs inside the property and they were right. We were offered illegal substances in more than one occasion. It is very easy to see those “sellers” and the hotel certainly knows about it and does nothing. - Not a lot of shade without paying extra for it. The only shade you get for free if from the coconut/palm tress. I felt it was ridiculous to have to pay for cabins etc already having paid for a better category. - Restaurants are packed most of the time. We managed to book a few but the dress code is a joke, especially when it is like 36 degrees and you are asked to wear long pants. - The room itself is big but old, the air conditioning doesn’t work very well and there is barely any sound proof. The small fridge in the room can barely keep drinks cold. - The gym is great but the air conditioning was not working well, leaving the room humid and hot. I also asked for small towels and they said they didn’t have any despite the sign of them being offered. - Because of the different categories, there is a LOT of people in the hotel. Guests can have their own speakers with very loud music around the swimming pool and nothing is done about it - not very relaxing. - A lot of kids running around the pool. No adults only area in the swimming pool where you can relax without kids crying and jumping in the pool. - Not a lot of interesting activities going on. The singing and dancing is great but it is the same actors every day just wearing different clothes and singing a different type of music so gets boring after two shows. - the night before we left, I booked and went to one of the restaurant and felt ill after the food. I was ill for 3 days after it with fever and a sore tummy.
It was my birthday so they upgraded us to a better room which was a nice gesture. Some of the restaurants were really good, we stayed at the pyramid so had access to a lot of options.

AustraliaThe air conditioning in our room, was noisy and smelt bad when walking in to room. The beach was disappointing. It wasn’t a swimming beach due the large waves. They pound you continuously. Fresh orange juice was not available and the substitute tasted like kool aide. Thank goodness for mimosas at breakfast. There was not a large range of cocktails available and those that were tasted bland.
The pools, the gardens, the peacocks.

United StatesWe had to switch rooms due to an a/c issue. Unavoidable in beach hotels, but there was a mildew smell. The food is pretty good — think cruise food. The reservation system is awful. My recommendation — message property before you arrive to get beach club and dinner reservations. Do not leave check in without all reservations ready to go for your stay. You have to download the app but we found it to be useless. Most of the beach chairs were broken. If you have kids and you’re wanting to do the beach you’ll need to pay for a beach cabana— otherwise it’s just not conducive. Also, it lacks tons of shade; so if you MUST have shade I recommend a resort with umbrellas instead of trees for shade. The oasis club parties were x rated— women dancing in thongs on stage; guests in contests were flashing the audience — if you want. A relaxing afternoon away from a party do not use oasis or Miramar beach clubs.
The beach clubs were wonderful. There were many restaurants and pools and bars! Upgrade for sian Kahn— it’s worth it. They have you use what’s app to communicate needs and that was great! The Italian restaurant and the Miramar were really good. They do a great job of modifying foods. The coffee shop was amazing.

United StatesThat hotel too big hotel more restaurant and shows, but when you are new first time you didn’t know where to go, they give us app to download everything, but it doesn’t work, because all shows and restaurants they saying name of location, it is very hard to figure out. I think that hotel has to print the all shows time, on the paper.it is easy for customer.
View to ocean, club beach and foam party was so nice ,pools clean, natural trees and I love the peacocks all over outside. That hotel has a more restaurant, ice cream place , coffee shops .sushi restaurant for reservations is the best place, I reserved that hotel for myself and my family we are 8 people, everybody enjoyed.

North MacedoniaAlthough the water was amazing, the beach was not very suitable for swimming because it is an open ocean and there are big waves and currents. I know that this is not something that the resort can do a lot about and depends on the weather factors as well but I think is good future costumers to know what to expect.
The food was very good and having the pyramid access has a lot of advantages regarding the additional restaurants. The staff is nice and helpful. The beach is well maintained, has comfortable sunbeds and great service. In the resort there are a lot of different activities that you can enjoy.

United KingdomThe Pyramid Resort is a great all-inclusive destination. There are plenty of restaurants offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The resort is well-managed and features multiple pools to enjoy. However, there were two things that let me down. First, the WiFi connection was unstable, frequently disconnecting every few minutes. I had some business to take care of, but the unreliable internet made it difficult. Second, we had an issue with the taxi service arranged by the hotel for our return to the airport. We were told it would cost 600 pesos, with a 10% surcharge for card payments. However, upon arrival at the airport, the driver attempted to charge 990 pesos. It was only when I asked to see the amount on the card machine that I noticed the discrepancy. I pointed out that 10% of 600 is 60, making the correct total 660 pesos. The driver reluctantly agreed, processed the correct amount, and started swearing, blaming the card machine. Aside from those two issues, we had a wonderful stay and loved the amazing ocean view. I would definitely recommend the Pyramid Resort, but advise double-checking payment amounts—especially when dealing with taxis.
