Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyI believe a few small improvements could make the experience almost perfect, such as setting up a waiting area with seating and offering luggage storage for free. I would be happy to pay a bit extra for these amenities or forgo toiletries if budget is a concern.
The hotel is well located and very modern and clean. We had a pleasant time there.

AustraliaLack of clear communication from reception staff. We requested no need for cleaners throughout our stay but after the first day, the cleaners came and changed the towels, replaced all 4 with only 2. So we had to request more from reception.
Close to train station and good value for money considering it was a last minute planning

JapanThe smell... the whole hotel stinks of cigarettes... possibly due to it having ducted aircon. Can't open windows for fresh air so the room, hallway and reception stunk 24/7
Liked the cleanliness and modern facilities

AustraliaRoom and in particular, bathroom was quite small (no room for a bin). Kettle was provided but no tea/coffee. Bit pricey given location is a little out of the city centre and given the size and 'no frills' nature of the room.
Hotel was a short walk from Kameido Station. Quiet and clean room.

GermanyI would have chosen a Onefive hotel with a different location, however that is a personal preference. Public transportation was highly accessible from the hotel, just a 4 minute walk to the underground.

GermanyI would say I am a bit more tidy than others, so maybe I notice these things more. The toilet was not super clean. It seemed like something was missed during cleaning. I understand that the staff have many rooms to take care of, so it can happen, but it could have been checked more carefully. The blanket was also a bit strange. There were two layers – a soft cover and a thick blanket inside. The thick one had what looked like a make-up stain on it, almost like someone pressed their face into it trying to create an art piece. I am not sure if the stain just never came out or if the blanket wasn’t changed before our stay, but it didn’t give the best impression.
This hotel has a great location – at least for us, it was perfect. Just five minutes walking from the train station, which made it super easy to get around. Nothing complicated at all. We had a simple room, and we were happy with it. The bed was a decent size for two people, although I think if you're a larger couple, it might feel a bit small. We were lucky to get a room on one of the upper floors, and the view of the tower was really nice. That was definitely a highlight. The hotel does not offer early check-in, and you have to pay to store your bags in a locker. When we arrived, all the big lockers were already taken, which was a bit disappointing. But one of the staff members came to help, checked the situation, and told us there was a room ready, so we were allowed to check in early. That was a big plus and we really appreciated it. She was super friendly and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast included in our reservation, and I’m not sure if the hotel offers it. But for us it was fine. There are about five convenience stores, around the hotel, so we just grabbed coffee and something light before heading out to explore. You have everything in the area – all kinds of restaurants and shops. I loved it! If I come back for holidays, I will definitely book this hotel again.

GermanyThe mattress of our bed had a slight dentation in the middle, which isn‘t great for back-sensitive people. Additionally, the bed itself was close to too small for a couple - we didn‘t really mind but it‘s good to know.
We enjoyed the convenient location extremely close to the station, the check-in/check-out was easy and smooth, the room was very clean and everything worked properly. The value for money was extremely high, especially because we booked very spontaneously.

AustraliaThe only thing to mension is it felt a bit dated. I didn’t mind this at all, but if you like new and sleek, might be better to go for a 4 star or something. Still super clean, I was happy
Has all the facilities you need. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Room was pretty spacious for Tokyo, had a large desk with a great view of sky tree. Big bath tub, nice bathroom Paid luggage lockers in foyer (500 yen for small, 1000 for large)

United StatesThe room was advertised to support a family and child. My son is 9 years old and there is no way they we could all sleep in the same bed. The bed is basically an American full size and comfortable for two adults. The hotel staff did provide an extra blanket that we used to make a pallet on the floor for my son.
The property is centrally located in to Koto area and just a short walk away from the Kameido station. The location of the property is away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo which was nice after visiting the city. Seems to be an area with mainly locals and not many foreigners which was also nice. WiFi is great, and all the amenities needed are located in the lobby.
