Last night one of our bikes was stolen from the hostel yard. We locked bicycles together using several strong bicycle locks. Two locks were cut off. The remaining bicycles were partly damaged (see 2 pictures ago). In the pre-check-in email information, the hostel suggested parking bicycles in the internal yard of the property (our responsibility). When we booked accommodation in March 2024, we signalled we would need to store our bicycles safely. The hostel never answered us that it was impossible. Because we noticed theft when we hurried to the Nyuagati Railway Station (to go back to Warsaw), we could not call the police. We asked the hostel to do so and check the internal CCTV in the yard. We did not raise financial claims. The hostel answered slowly, not the point, arrogantly at the end. Neither did it inform the police, nor check the CCTV. This is surprising because we believed (perhaps naively) that the investigation of the theft is also in the interest of the hostel which should be interested in offering its clients safe accommodation. Generally, the staff was largely absent during our day and half stay. Our interactions with the staff, including information about the theft, were done mainly via email and Booking.com communication system.

Good location and equipment inside (especially kitchen equipment). However, these good characteristics were overshadowed by the lack of safety and the unacceptable attitude of staff when we experienced troubles (stolen bicycle) - see below.

Air conditioning wasn't working. We problem solved by having the windows open. However- the facilities were in a noisy section of town. Lots of screaming the first night. Second night- loud motorcycles zooming up and down the main streets. The property itself was great. You can't control outside issues.

Room was wonderful. Bathroom was clean and good size. Beds were comfortable.

My friends and I had an amazing experience at this apartment! Its central location in the heart of the city made exploring Budapest incredibly convenient. The apartment itself was impeccably clean and exuded a pleasant ambiance, making it a delightful place to return to after a day of sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and found the accommodations to be comfortable and well-maintained. Without a doubt, if I have the opportunity to visit Budapest again, I wouldn't hesitate to book this apartment once more. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Budapest!

The check in process

Location was amazing, but it is confusing the check in process. Since they advise you to do the check in after 2 pm, but then there is nobody there to open the door... and even though the owner is really helpful and tries his best, it would be better if all the instructions were better clarified.

We didn't receive the air conditioning remote control because the manager said that it is centralize controlled. So we couldn't stop the air conditioning warming, we tried to use the thermostat but it didn't solve this problem. So there was a very high temperature in the room and we slept badly. Weird lightening system.

Very big comfortable room. Good location - near the center and metro station. Silent, almost no sounds from outside, our neighbors were very loud in the deep night but we didn't hear them. The kitchen was well equipped, with tea bags and instant coffee.

First, a word about the beds... Stayed in a room with a bunk bed since we were going to spend only about 6 hours here after a concert. I was sleeping in the bottom bunk and my spouse on the top. The beds were quite uncomfortable but that wasn't even the worst part. These beds were the squeakiest beds I've ever slept on. Whenever I moved even slightly, my spouse would wake up from her sleep. Second, we had access to a shared bathroom. Normally this is completely fine, but their regular door lock was broken so the property improvised a different lock. This lock was more akin to a door chain, which meant that while it was keeping the door from opening all the way, one could easily open the door enough (think 1-2 cm) to see what's happening inside, and the first thing they would see is someone on the toilet. This is a massive risk to privacy that we were stunned that this was the way they decided to solve it. Third, and somewhat minor, is that the main door to our shared apartment is quite heavy and had a spring-loaded hinge. Whenever someone entered or left the apartment, it would slam shut so hard that our room was shaking every time, since we had the room closest to the door. I usually don't have too high expectations given the price point but whoever's reading this review and thinking of booking a bunk bed from them, do yourselves a favor just pay a bit more somewhere else and get a proper room.

The shower was kind of small and we didn't had towels (but it did said on the profile of the house that they don't provide).

Everything was cozy and comfortable. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was good, in our case specially for breakfast.

The instructions were very clear and the unit itself was clean, and very big for the price and the bathroom was beautiful and seems Newley renovated with good appliances. The temperature was great and I liked that it was tucked away and private as well! I stayed in the Standard Suite.

Near to metro, accessible and convenient to everywhere. The staff very efficient and helpful. The rooms were clean and cozy. Facilities in hostel provided is meet our expectations shown in the description. Bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure and hot water. We are having wonderful Christmas holiday in Budapest.
