it is not a social hostel as no common areas to hang out. Also though the location is very central but it is on a big street. Opening the window results in very loud noise but luckily with window closed, it is fine.

Shower leaked causing wet floor. Went to reception a few times but no one answered. Although this is not a party hostel, our private room was in shared an apartment with a large group of people who did not respect being quiet when coming in during the early hours of the morning. There was lots of shouting and doors slamming at about 3am.

Great location and spacious room. Good basic facilities all round

The beds are somewhat uncomfortable and noise can be heard from the other rooms. The request to walk barefoot inside the hostel is somewhat uncomfortable and strange. They could have warned about this beforehand. The price-quality ratio is somewhat high considering the facilities and shared services. There is no luggage storage after checkout because there is no receptionist available all day. It is also good to warn about this. However, for one night it works well.

Good location. The hostel is close to subway stations. It is an option for very short stays.

The photos on the website show bright, modern rooms, but mine was located in a separate apartment and had not been updated in a while. The furniture and decor was old and dingy. It was not made very clear in my booking information that the room did not have an ensuite bathroom and just a shared bathroom. My room smelt of sweat and aftershave and the bathrooms smelt of damp and mould. I tried to use the hair straighteners provided, but sparks and smoke came out of the damaged cable. The walls between rooms were very thin, which meant that there was very little sound insulation. Unfortunately for me, the occupants of the next room stayed up talking until 1-2am on the first two nights of my stay, and due to the lack of sound insultation it was as if they were in the same room, so I got very little sleep, and this somewhat spoilt my expensive 7am birdwatching trip the next day.

The location was very convenient for transport and sightseeing. The room was very spacious and it was good to have a television and cupboard storage space. The shared facilities such as hairdryer were useful. The apartment was cleaned regularly.

- big noise (the flooring is old and sounds everywhere you step, you can hear any movement from the neighbors, checkout is until 10 o'clock and already from 8 o'clock in the morning you can't sleep anymore because of the noise that is made by going to the bathroom, in the hall, making coffee, moving trolleys)

- the bathroom was equipped with all the necessities (hair dryer, deodorant, toothpaste etc) - cleaning was done daily by the staff - very friendly staff - nice view right on the street - very good soundproof windows

There where parties at night nearby that were very loud requiring the windows to be closed. There is no comfortable chair or sofa to sit on. The bed was two twin mattresses and two shelves were placed on the inside corners. So to sleep you had to be in the middle and of course the mattresses would then spread apart

It was clean and the location was great. Bathroom and kitchen were well designed.

Quite many rules at the facility, plastered on the walls. Maybe that is the reason it so well kept, though. I wish there would be two sets of keys for people sharing the couple's room. Wish the beds would be a little more comfortable, but the room was well equipped with a small wardrobe place, chairs, night table, lamps. The staircase to the hostel was a bit dirty and smelly.

Super clean, cosy and a good escape from the city. Well amenities, available washing facilities, kitchen and common space. I especially enjoyed the silence and cleanliness. Although bathroom was shared, it was very clean. I would recommend this hostel to other travelers and my friends.

The beds are squeaky and pillows are very flat.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and easy to communicate before and during checkin. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless, still smelled a bit like cleaning supplies.

Maybe the lack of an airco, although the fan was sufficient when I was there. Also, a lightbulb was flickering so I couldn't use the bigger light.

The location was amazing. In the heart of Budapest. I was lucky and got a room with a balcony. It was really cool, just sitting there and watching people go by. The room itself was good. All you need. No airco though, only a fan, but that was good enough. Sounds from outside the room were minimal.

Nicer bathroom and better bedding.

I had read the reviews of this hostel before I traveled and they were pretty good however when I arrived I was a little disappointed. The room was a decent size and the bed was comfy but the pillow was not good and the sheets were stained. The shower water did not drain and the bathroom was not that clean. The staff were nice at reception but reception was k ku open for a few hours a day so getting a towel and paying for my room was more difficult. It was easy to check in.

The staff wasn't overly friendly, but ok, I don't expect them to be "all jolly" to everyone. What I didn't like is actually the wrong information they gave us. One staff member said we can leave our bags until 5 pm (for a fee, of course), and the next day, another staff member said that it is only possible until 4, but she would suggest that we come earlier, because apparently the manager wasn't to thrilled about it (she asked him before talking to us). After paying the fee, she just put the bags on the couch in the community room and said "don't worry, it's safe". In general, this is just a staff miscommunication problem and does not affect the quality of the room, facilities and location, but some would be more bothered by this.

The location was very good and we can't complain about the size of the room and the facilities. Everything was clean and check-in wasn't complicated.

Spent two nights and couldn't find much of down sides. Maybe the ambulances/road can be very loud if you leave the window open?? But, obviously, that's not something they can change. Not much of things we didn't like.

What a great price for a beautiful place, the kitchen is definitely a big plus. My room had a small balcony, so pleasant to sit outside and just enjoy the evening. 2 showers for busy times, a separated toilet too. I'll definitely book the same place in the future again.
