The staircase to Tomo Apartment are big challenge for everyone. Though Marija had shown a better route for us. I won't choose Apartment in Old Town if I go again.

The locate was great however not for the faint hearted with the amount of steps to navigate. Bear this in mind if you have heavy luggage. The apartment was immaculate and very clean and comfortable.

After arriving very late in the evening, Marija met us to help us to our accommodation. The location was great in a quite side ally, the property was very clean and Marija was fantastic helping us with what ever we required.

microwave in the kitchen would be useful kitchen overall could be updated needs an information package with details of items in the apt eg we didn't know how to turn on the hot water and had to message the host

There were a lot of stairs to the property (we knew this beforehand). But we also liked the number of stairs as it felt like we were really part of the Old Town.

We had to climb a lot of stairs to get to the apartment.

we were able to book for 1 night and it was inside the old city. I left an important document in the apartment and the host was incredibly helpful so that I could retrieve it.

We had a very poor experience with the owner. We arrived at the apartment at about 10.30pm, after our flight was delayed. When we arrived the Apartment was locked and dark. We tried to call the owner many times, but there was no answer. We contacted neighbours, but they had no details. At 11.45pm, our 4 kids were super tired and cranky from a long trip from Australia, so we found a quiet place on the streets nearby and slept on our backpacks. Not what we expected from a long anticipated trip to Dubrovnik! When we got to our next destination the next day, we received an email at lunchtime with a code to Apartment Tomo. I then wrote a message to the owner via Bookings.com. She claimed she had sent us the pin on the day of our arrival. And she was very short and unapologetic re our night sleeping on the streets. When we requested a refund she refused, saying it was our own fault, she had done everything correctly. We dispute this. For future travellers, request to receive the pin a week earlier. All of our other accomodations have done this, so we didn’t have any issues even when travelling between countries. Though in hindsight, sleeping on the streets of Dubrovnik is a great story to tell, it was a very uncomfortable night, with very little sleep. It spoilt our trip to Dubrovnic.
