We were only staying one night- we arrived in Guam in the late afternoon and were leaving the following afternoon. At four am we were awoken by a leak in the ceiling of our room. Somebody came to mop it up with towels and left a bucket under the leak, but staff did not seem interested in moving us to a different room and nobody even asked about it the following day. There was also a slightly strange encounter the next morning in the swimming pool with a woman who may have been hotel staff, or may have been a party planner (they seemed to be setting up for a party later in the day), who complained to us about using the floats and beach balls in the pool as they were hers- in a public hotel swimming pool? All in all the room itself was fine, but the overall experience was not terrific.

I chose the Hotel Tano Guam as it seemed to offer the best value for money for the night we wanted to stay. Hotels in Guam seem to be very expensive. The room was nice enough but not spectacular, but that was pretty much as expected. Location was decent- not too far from the airport and within walking distance to cafes and restaurants etc.

No towel rails anyway in the bathroom. Also no line so I couldn’t hang up laundry. No light switch by the bed.

Rooms were nice. The gym was great! Only downside was that there was a scheduled pool party on our last day and although we swam for a little, we felt uncomfortable with a party that they were having and so many people were utilizing the area. It would've been a little more convenient if there was either a separate or bigger pool for all patrons to use.

Location is great --- right on the tour strip and very close to the beach. The room is very quiet. Have a gym. Lobby is decent. Staff are very friendly and professional.

The building is dated and it is obvious in some parts, but overall, the accents, fixtures, and furniture are all modern.

Price, location, amenities (gym, pool, modern aesthetic, modern fixtures) and the bed was comfortable. There is also a microwave, washer, and dryer available for use. Each room is also supplied with bathroom amenities (toothbrushes, sewing kit, shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lotion, loofah, razor). The location is also great, lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The internet was pretty slow, and they seem to be blocking UDP so i couldnt connect to my work vpn. Also i feel at this price point there should be breakfast included. The house keeping was not great, all they did was replace towels and make up the bed a bit, they never cleaned the used tea cups, never replaced the complimentary tea, left hair on the floor and insistantly knocked on the door even when the "do not disturb sign" was hung.

The staff was great and got me a room to rest before check in time (i arrived at 6am) at no extra charge and did the same the day i left, they also provided me a room to stay in after check out while i waited for my flight in the evening. The bed was comfortable, smart tv, shower with strong water pressure. Gym and pool available, convienience store on site. Walking distance to the beach.

Hotel Tano is located in a popular area of town and walkable to a lot of restaurants. I enjoyed the guest room and it was clean. The staff were very nice and helpful should you need anything.

In the details, it’s obvious that the hotel isn’t in great condition overall. There was a day when the towels couldn’t be replaced, due to a shortage. The hairdryer worked well, but was in awful shape cosmetically. One elevator is out of service. The hotel’s new design is nice, but there is damage and dysfunction in the details, together with dirt.

Staff did everything they could do be helpful and kept up with my many requests. Very polite and forthcoming. The gym was surprisingly complete for this kind of hotel, great!

It's a little run down. Not great attention to detail. Check the photo of the room clock next to my watch. My watch was the correct time. Oops, the alarm I set might have been a little off.

The hotel looks like they have upgraded to be more modern, which is good. But it is a little run down. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. I would stay there again.
