The host is the best and takes care of everything, and in general the staff are very kind. Smaller hotel but has everyting you need, a nice breakfast and a restaurant with the most delicious food! It has a pool, and several beach options withing 5 min walking distance. The bus stop to Chania is 1 min away (bus leaves every 12 minutes). They also have two cute dogs at the hotel. We loved our stay!

The hotel was great. Very friendly, casual but great service. Housekeeping was amazing. The hotel is well located with a lot of good restaurants around, and the restaurant at the hotel is also one of the best. Easy access to Chania itself and beaches on the doorstep. We had three people in the room and the extra bed was comfortable (solid frame, not a pullout and bit too small). Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Property owners and restaurant staff asked for tips very frequently even though the meal and property prices are European and the service was not something special. Food in a restaurant is good but rather salty and fatty with no vegetables on the side.

Location was exceptional, hotel with basic things, staff is friendly and talktative. Good food in a restaurant Cleaners made some nice ornaments from towels and flowers.

The breakfast was cooked fresh to order with lots of different options available. The hotel staff are all friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. There was a wooded area in front of the hotel with a children’s play area and a bus stop (15mins to Chania centre) and on the other side were 3 sandy beaches - all approx a 5 min walk away.

Rooms were very clean and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious with all local products and contained everything you need for a breakfast. The staff was very helpful, easy-going and always have a good word. The restaurant is excellent, we ate there nearly everyday (we stayed 11 nights) and we tried almost everything on the menu, and we never were dissapointed. Overall it is a very nice hotel and very good quality for the price!

We had a wonderful stay at Talos in early September. Our spacious and clean room provided a comfortable retreat, especially with the efficient air conditioning during the warm weather. The hotel is ideally located in a peaceful neighborhood, just a short walk from three beautiful beaches. The restaurant offered amazing food, which we truly enjoyed during our stay. Additionally, the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed and cared for. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend Talos for a relaxing getaway!

It was quite hot in our room. When we left the room the air conditioner turned off and when we came back it was very hot in our room. The air conditioner was not able to cool down the room fast enough, the cold air didn't reach our bedroom well.

We visited the hotel in August 2024 and spent a week there. It's a nice hotel with a good location, near the good beach. The beach was sandy and not pebbly. The hotel offers a varied breakfast, and the hotel also has a restaurant with excellent food. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and hospitable, we felt welcomed.

I receveid a room close to the reception and the pool, around which there are the tables of the restaurant. It took two-three evenings to adapt to the music and the noise, but they turn everything off at midnight, so I guess it is not so problematic.

It is a nice hotel, very close to beautiful beaches and with a wonderful restaurant that serves all sorts of local specialties. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Wi-fi is generally ok, sometimes with a weaker signal unless one is closer or around the pool, but it is still reasonable. The historic part of Chania is just about 20 minutes away by bus.

Rooms could maybe do with updating, but honestly they're fine.

This is a great hotel run by really nice people. The room, whilst basic, was clean and spacious. The food was excellent (try their desserts!) and the location couldn't be more perfect, with 3 beautiful beaches within 3 minutes walk, lots of restaurants nearby, and regular buses into the centre of Chania. Lefteris, the owner, has two lovely dogs who we made friends with. He's really friendly and it's clear the team working there enjoy it too. Great Cretan hospitality! We'll be going back to Crete and will be staying at Talos when we do!

It would be nice to have a little more variety of food for breakfast, food is great and tasty but always the same. Also there's no meat for someone that doesn't eat pork, only pork sausage and bacon.

Very good location, close to beaches, beaches near hotel are really good. It's also quiet at night , no loud music or other noises. Hotel room was ok, enough space, with everything you need. Room cleaning was good, changing sheets and towels regullarly. Breakfast was delicious, really good food. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. You have good wifi in rooms and the rest of hotel.

Interior require some handyman work - like loose bed lamps, holder for shower, but biggest issue was that AC was not working. first two days it was giving some colder airflow, but I had to direct flow on bed directly to feel anything. Last two days it was only giving air. I've reported that third day, but unfortunately it wasn't fixed for last day. probably I didn't explain issue with details. I believe it will be fixed, I guess we were unlucky with malfunction.

We liked a lot restaurant at the pool, it was giving very cosy feeling, food was very very delicious and good prices. Stuff was one of the best you can imagine. Rooms vere spacious, enough for 2+1, but it's not modern interior. We liked location a lot. Very clean beaches around and nice distance to center of Chania. Breakfast were very tasty, not big choice but local products, tasty and fresh. I loved omlets😍 I'm missing them already.

Lefty and his staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. Honestly, the food is the best in the area. We only intended to eat there once but ate 4 times (one lunch and 3 evening meals) due to the quality. Fresh, beautifully presented and good value for money. Talos offers high quality while maintaining the relaxed, homely feel we like on a holiday.

I'm struggling to think of anything we didn't like about the hotel or the resort .

The friendly welcome from all the staff who were lovely , our son loved the dogs and arriving late we got to have a midnight dip in the pool . The location was perfect with a big shady park right outside , a welcome relief from the hot August sun and the chirping cicadas . The closest beach was our favorite , about 3 minutes walk away , but also two other fantastic beaches either side , around 8- 10 mins walk away with beach tavernas , plus lots of great restaurants within a few minutes walk away . The snorkeling was great round the rocks , with some Neptune grass too . And if you snorkel out a bit there's a rock to jump off into the sea which was popular with our son . Another big highlight was the food at the hotel which was outstanding , lots of choice and lots of vegan options , best we had so we ate at the hotel alot ! Also taxi was arranged to and from the airport so hassle free .Easy buses right outside to Chania town every 15 minutes . Oh and the lovely Greek breakfasts with homemade jams and marmalades was delicious .
