Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The views from the bar and restaurant were absolutely amazing!! The room was average in size but very well maintained and it was the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in in my entire life and I am really fussy when it comes to cleanliness. I thought hotels in Dubai were the best in terms of cleanliness till I got to Les Terrasses d'Eze. Not a spec of dirty in room!

CanadaRestaurant dinner service slow. We advised that my daughter had severe allergy to peanuts, nuts of all kinds and that as we were sharing attention for all dishes should be but free First starter came with pine nuts then dessert came with peanuts on her dish , my husbands cheese dish I had taken a bite of mine ( same as my daughters) and noticed nut all over. Fortunately my daughter had not started hers as it would have been fatal. When advised waiter he took her dish away and brought another with out nuts. No apology , no managers attention and he just said that was the way they garnished the plate Obviously no training about allergies and it could have been disaster out Also I had advised on reservation that it was my husbands 70th birthday which hotel acknowledged before our stay . No mention

I couldn't fault this hotel. The facilities are excellent. A stunning infinity pool, great restaurant & bar area, plus the room had a private terrace with a sea view. The bed was very comfortable indeed and everything was clean, modern & classy.

SwedenThe hotel restaurant is not outstanding but Eze Village provides multiple alternatives and if you don’t have a car you can always take an Uber / Taxi back to the village.
Good property, the facilities are not as outdated as some of the reviews claim, the pool is not big to swim across the Atlantic but perfect size for a quick dip. The hotel now operates shuttles to the Eze Village and then one can take a public bus to the beach. If you are in good health, definitely take the Nietzsche path from Eze Village down the mountain to the beach, it’s quite an experience and the views are outstanding!

United KingdomFood was terrible - ordered a chicken burger, had to send it back for being cold, same burger was right returned after what i can only assume was a 30 second blast in the microwave. No apology offered at any point and still charged the full amount for it. Service in the bar was incredibly slow and inattentive. Regularly waiting 15 mins or more for a simple drinks order, even at non-peak times, with no offer of water whilst waiting. Prices are slightly bizarre but not horrific for the standard of hotel (8 euros for a coke, yet just 15 for a cocktail) Toiletries in the room were empty and there just seemed to be a massive lack of attention to detail which let it down for the price point. Other small issues included no smart functionality on the TV system, and the spa being an up-charge.
Pool is nice, facilities and cleanliness were okay overall. Staff mostly friendly. Room was clean.

AustraliaWe acknowledge that we visited during one of the busiest times of the year so that needs to be taken into consideration. Having said that, everything felt a little dated and not quite the elevated standard we were expecting, to be honest. The on site restaurant, again, has spectacular views but was wildly over priced for the quality of the food. There also was no such thing as a little snack or side if you were hungry throughout the day, which again made the inaccessibility of the local town frustrating. If you do not have a car the location is incredibly inconvenient. A walk to the little town nearby is roadside (doable but not pleasant.) Ubers regularly cancel and the less than 10 minute taxi down to the beach front cost us a staggering €80. Several requests we made (such as the use of an iron) the staff said 'we will do our best' but not met. One night we waited over 20mins for the bill and had to ask 3 times. Again, the staff were incredibly friendly, just unfortunately not super efficient. This is a small thing- but the towels and hairdryers in the bathroom seemed really old and cheap. Again, just not the elevated standard we expected.
The view is clearly spectacular and just stunning to behold at every turn, even from bed! The pool was also gorgeous, though as it wasn't heated we weren't able to use it at this time of year. This lead to the entire place feeling very peaceful. Staff were incredibly friendly. The entire place was very clean, despite being very busy. Having a spa on site is a wonderful touch- though some the the facilities were marketed as a little more luxurious than perhaps the reality was- I acknowledge that the spa is considered a separate business.

RussiaThe refrigerator in the room was not working. In the large bathroom, there is no partition between the shower and the toilet, so water splashes all over the floor when taking a shower, making it very slippery. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. Unfortunately, the spa time was shortened by 30-60 minutes. The inside pool water was cold, and for this reason, it was difficult to stay in the jacuzzi as you quickly start to feel cold. The hotel is bathed in sunlight all year round, so it would be great if solar panels were used and the outdoor pool was heated during the winter season.
The Family room is huge, frendly staff, good atmosphere, amazing view from the hotel, comfortable bed, beautiful SPA with different saunas.

United StatesI booked a room with a “sea view”. The pictures of our room selection view I had when I booked on booking were very different from what we received. Had a tile balcony and view of sea pictures. Attached picture was our view (covered trees, sea not visible). I asked the staff about this when we checked in…they told us they had “upgraded” us to a bigger room, but just wasn’t sure why we didn’t receive what we had booked. The room was still nice but it was a surprise from what we were expecting when we walked in. Luckily lots to get out and explore so didn’t spend much time in the room any ways.
The views of the ocean are wonderful, the pool area was very nice

South AfricaThe Attitude of the staff.
I booked a 2 night stay. On day 2 I left the hotel at 10am and returned at 3pm. The room has not been serviced, only to be told that they usually get the rooms done by 5pm. 5pm came and went, and when I complained, I was told that the housekeeper had done the room at 9am and when I had convinced them that it had not, their response was that they would do it the following day ( the day of my checkout). There was no willingness to take responsibility or compensate me for the lack of professionalism and abject laziness. €400 per night is not nothing. I am horrified at the attitude and do disappointed.
