How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was next to the road and lots of road works - dusty and noisy!
The location was awesome. The food in the cafe was great and a little cheaper than other places at the Marina.

It could have been a bit cleaner.
It was a perfect place for us as we were catching the ferry the next day so we could walk across to the ferry terminal. Very close to lots of restaurants and mini supermarkets.

Pool is small but OK for kids. No sea view as on the main road going into the port. But not too noisy. Better value than big chain resorts but still expensive.
This is a great location of you need to get an early ferry from the port a it's only a 2 minute walk away. The bula bus also stops at the hotel so you can explore the beach front resorts. We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which was HUGE! Could easily have stayed here a week. It has a cafe/restaurant so you don't have to move for food if you don't want to.

The pool was freezing, so not enjoyable. The shower door opened out in the master bathroom, and hit the toilet, giving virtually NO room to get in and out of the beautiful walk in shower!! A simple fix would be to have the door opening IN.
Thw whole property was sparkling clean, as well as our apartment. There were 5 of us traveling together, and the 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms worked perfectly. The staff were so caring and friendly, and very helpful. The apartment is directly across from Port Denerau, with its abundance of cafes, restaurants, and other shops. The Bula Bus takes you around all the resorts, and is a fun way to see the area. Our washing machine didn't work on the Sunday, and the maintenence man was quickly there to try and fix it. It was a very nice touch to have cold water in the fridge, and a bowl of fresh fruit to welcome us.

Beds were very hard and very uncomfortable
Location was great for Denerau marina and shops, and easy to catch the bula bus to get around the rest of Denerau, room was very spacious and clean, staff were great

Just be aware no beach at this property but does have a swimming pool.
Perfect for us as we had a ferry book 8.15 am check in for the morning. A short walk to ferry, shopping and restaurants.

Not the nicest location if staying for an extended holiday.
Very spacious and well appointed room. Great for a family stay. Staff were great. Directly across the road from Port which was very convenient for the morning ferry.

Great location - only a short walk to the Port / shops / cafes etc Very clean / tidy and well maintained. Very affordable in comparison to other resorts in Denarau. Good sized milk in the fridge :-)

Our bedroom faced the rear car park on bottom level so there was a lot of noise from people walking past with their luggage, and returning drunk from Port Denarau ferry terminal. Didn’t get much sleep. A bit of extra sound proofing on that side of the building would go a long way. Other bedrooms were fine for the group.
Great location for an overnight stay before heading out to the islands. Quick walk to ferry terminal and restaurants. Very clean apartments, good sized for our group of 4.
