Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The general bad smell in Lautoka
The executive rooms nice and large and close to pool but standard rooms quite small and dorm-like. The massage spa good.

Set up a section where guests ask for quiet. Possibly along the swimming pool as the noise in the corridors with housekeeping can be constant.
Hot water, clean beds and thick fluffy towels worthy of any 5 star. I spent 3 days trying every beauty treatment by the accomplished Elizabeth. Service was that genuine warmth Thankyou for giving me the respite I needed.

Every time I have used booking.com to make reservations I have been given a room in the old wing. I found cockroaches during my last stay and again this time, the charging port was not working (when complain to front desk, the response was “yes it doesn’t work” with a smile) and problems with the air conditioner remote trying to adjust temp & fan. Needless to say I will not be using booking.com to make reservations at Waterfront Hotel again.

Not enough cutleries in our room but we were supplied some and a few mugs were dusty - easy fix though Air con remote wasn’t working so our room was cold at first but then a lovely gentleman helped us with a new remote These are just observations, overall we loved our stay despite these minor issues

Somehow noisy in the night... We love to sleep with an open window, and the noise was no good. Outside pick up zone for port Denarau trips, so +$120 FJD for the transfers.
Hotel is good, clean, good breakfast, nice pool.

We booked here to b3 neat the port for embarkation. However embarkation was held at the Hilton Hotel in Nadi. Not the hotels fault.

Breakfast, while not bad, could do with more variety as it's almost the same every day. But the breakfast curries do need less oil in them.
Great Stay. Our family frequents Tanoa Waterfront yearly. The staff is amazing, especially with our family's little 2-year-old toddler. The pizzas are amazing. The bathrooms could use some love from the maintenance team. The pool is great. All round great experience.

Location. I stayed to go to see a rugby match. The hotel is in the front of sea and next to a green park. The shopping area and the stadium are within walking distance. The room is clean and spacious.

reception and sitting area was not airconditioned. Long wait from arriving at 10.30am after cruise ship docked to when room was available at 2pm. Understandable when check-out is 11am but air conditioning would have been nice. Not much do near hotel.
pool was lovely. Pool towels were hard to get. - not available or still damp from washing. Staff made effort to bring some white bathroom towels instead. Lovely gardens. Nice breakfast area.

Breakfast was good however our last morning, stale roti's were served. Room 110 - had plumbing issue with the toilet for 2 consective days then our room was changed. Room 104 - someone had stuck a gum on the bedsite light which was not cleaned, ceramic bath tub was slippery & paint flaking off. Pool was beautiful

Same breakfast every day and no varieties offered. Please tell the management to improve their service on breakfast.
