Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandService of room was poor, towels not changed regularly. Water in shower was poor at night time.
Location was good with surrounding good hotels like Ramada, Wyndham, Crowne Plaza at Nadi Bay.

AustraliaDid not like the noise in the morning. There was little hanging space and no place to put our suit cases. TV also did not work during our stay. We asked for help with TV and a staff member was sent immediately to fix the problem. He managed to get the TV going, however after lots of trying by ourselves, TV was not working.
The location of this place is excellent and staff were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I booked a Budget Room by mistake and the room was noisy in the early morning. As travellers were leaving premises the noise started around 5.45am. The food was excellent, but only cards were taken. Down at Coral Coast at our hotel only cash was taken and so we withdraw enough cash to last us for the 7 day stay at the Aquarius Hotel. By them only taking card we mainly had meals at other restaurants in the area which took cash. The meals we did have at Aquarius, however, were very very good and well priced. In fact meals at the Aquarius were better than anywhere else in the area. The pool area was very clean and well maintained. All in all a great place to stay and value for money. We went to Sleeping Giant Garden, took a taxi to Lautoka and hired a bike from a close by bike shop. I enjoyed swimming directly from beach in front of hotel. Good place for sunsets and lovely beach walks. We would come back to Aquarius on the Beach Hotel, but book a room facing towards the pool area.

New ZealandBudget room backs onto the bar, and the noises stopped about 10pm but started at 5.45. Took a while for cocktails to be made, 40 mins with no other guests around!
Nice facilities, great location for a stopover before going out to the islands.

AustraliaThe room air con was so. Noisy we had to turn it off during the night
Breakfast took ages to receive and initially incorrectl order arrived We arrived late and were told the kitchen was to close for the night but thankfully they stayed open as there were 12 of us so think they well and truly made a profit on the food and bar as well.

United StatesUncomfortable mattress, broken curtains, slow internet
Old building in a good location, being next to major hotels was convenient for shuttle pickup to the marina. Alla at the reception was extremely nice and helpful, she let me check in a bit earlier and arranged a tour for me. It was nice to have a restaurant on site and a market within walking distance. The internet was not the best but overall it was a good value for a short stay

AustraliaRoom had nowhere to put suitcases so had to leave on floor and no draws or shelves to put clothes, only 1 pole on wall with 3 coathangers. Room is very large so a couple of shelves to put suitcases and draws would be easy. Bathroom has nowhere to put toiletries only a small shelf above the toilet. Hot water takes a good 32 minutes to come through. The area Wailoaloa Beach doesn't have a lot around there to do and the beach is not white sand. One money changer and coffee shop across the road, a supermarket bottleshop, massage place and a little Cafe on the main road.
Great little hotel right on the beach. Staff are brilliant and will go above and beyond to do anything for you so thankyou all very much. We had a ground floor (no view) Room No. 300, it was very spacious and bed comfy with 2 nice pillows each although a bit dated. The breakfast we had was very nice. Yummy bacon. Pool area was beautifully kept and looks great at night. Great for a couple of nights, close to airport. Club sandwich for lunch one day was also nice but we didn't have dinner there. There are a handful of other hotels nearby where you can go for a drink or food for a change of scenery.

AustraliaUnfortunately, there was an issue that required a generator, which was placed right outside one of our rooms. Our initial request to move was denied due to no availability, but later, a room suddenly became available. The rooms are basic but perfectly suitable for a stopover before heading to the islands or airport.
If you’re staying at Aquarius, be sure to dine at their restaurant. The Fijian food on Saturday night was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We loved sitting with the lads, enjoying their singing, and sharing some kava while learning about their local lifestyle. The service was also exceptional, with a lovely and welcoming staff member making the experience even more special.

IrelandIt was quite noisy at night time as we were right above the reception where the staff were. There were a good few bugs in our room so we bought a bug spray which sorted the issue.
We had a nice stay here! The location is good backing onto the beach and the pool was very nice. The food was lovely and drinks also. The price is a lot cheaper than others in the area so great if you are on a budget!

It was lovely to have a restaurant on site and it was easy to run a tab with the restaurant and pay up all expenses at check out. The staff were very friendly and helpee with local advice and arranging tours plus they were immediately available when some small repairs were needed in our room.
