Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was clean, spacious with a good size bathroom. Everything was provided. All sites were within walking distance & the metro was 5 mins away. Staff were very helpful.

I had a wonderful experience at SM Hotel Teatre Auditori, everything exceeded my expectations. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable. My room was just right, cozy, spotless, and well-equipped. The location couldn’t have been better! Sagrada Família was just a short walk away and the area felt both central and easy to navigate. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of tasty options to start the day. Another big highlight for me was the hotel’s proximity to Razzmatazz, one of the main reasons I chose this place. One of the reasons I came to Barcelona was to see my favorite band, Foster The People, perform live and staying at this hotel made the whole experience even more special. Although I couldn’t stay longer due to an upcoming job interview, this trip was a fantastic way to celebrate my recent graduation from medical school. The hotel definitely played a big part in making it so memorable. I truly hope to return to Barcelona one day and when I do, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again. And fingers crossed, Foster The People will be back on a European tour, too!

The double-bed was too small for two people. It was hard to sleep :(
Everything was great, especially that our room was ready before the time of check-in, so we could check-in immediately and rest after our long flight.

Nothing we could fault
It was clean, comfortable, the aircon a welcome break from the heat. Our room was perfect for sleeping, showering & heading back out to explore. Not massive but perfect for what we wanted in a city break! The location was great, 20 minute walk to the Sagrada Família & subway station.

No light on the bathroom mirror (only ceiling light).
Great location, close to the Metro and easy access to a lot of attractions. The rooms were squeaky clean and the staff were super kind and helpful. I had some issues with air conditioning in the room initially offered to me and the staff promptly tried to resolve the issue and later even gave me a different room to ensure that my stay is comfortable.

The air-conditioning in the room didnt quite work, it was more like a breeze, but not enough to really cool it down.
The location was great, easy to arrive, and the neighbourhood was pretty quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Check-in took some time, but lobby had good airconditioning. The room was as advertised, clean and roomy, with all that was needed.

The beds are quite comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They provided all the assistance we needed for early check-in. They also kept our luggage as we arrived very early in the city. In a quiet and nice neighbourhood. Arc de Triomf is within walking distance. There are taverns, restaurants and markets very close by. Sagrada Familia and La Ramblas are about 20 minutes' walk away. Every receptionist is extremely friendly. It is a facility that I would like to stay when I come to Barcelona again.

Centric easy to get the public transport and walk around the city. Is a small hotel with excellent facilities, clean and friendly staff. Night staff Sergio very welcoming and supportive. The lovely ladies day shift Ari,Bego,Vane,Carmen. All are a gem for the hotel in service and attention.

The air conditioning device in the room appeared to be poorly maintained, as dirt was visible in it.
The breakfast and the staff were super nice. The location was quiet enough to enjoy and very convenient to reach the main attractions and the city center.

Upon checking into the hotel, Ariadna at the front desk, was amazing! She was super nice and explained everything about the hotel, and also got us in our room earlier than expected. Every encounter with Carlotta, also a front desk rep, was outstanding! She helped us with directions to several attractions as well as a map. The breakfast was delicious! Both Vanessa and Carmen worked very hard to make sure everything was fully stocked with sliced fruits, sweet treats, eggs, and ham, and everything needed for us to enjoy a start to our day. Gracias!
