Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe signage for the parking area at the rear of the hotel was difficult to find on first arrival but with help we managed to sort that out.
It was wonderful to have a staffed reception, and the receptionists were very helpful about checking in, and explaining the transport options in Hamburg. Breakfast was hearty with lots of hot and cold options.

It was very well located, the subway station is just outside the door of the hotel, and they have a parking, a mall, and so many stores and restaurants in the area. We visited during Christmas and there was a Christmas market right outside.

United StatesNo one was there when I went to check out. I waited 10 minutes and kept asking "hello?" and then I ended up needing to just leave my card and a note there. The area is very active and fun, but there were people smoking crack literally right outside the door morning and night, which was not so great.
It was cozy. The beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. The Ubahn is right there. 24/7 reception is a plus.

GermanyBut Room size is very small, not as the size while booking mentioned. The bed is too much soft and narrow. Bathroom is also very small and uncomfortable. In warm days while open the window, outside the window was quite noisy , both in midnight and early morning.

ItalyThe minute I entered the hotel a stench hit my nose. My educated guess is a sewage pipeline directly underneath the building cracked at one point in time due to seismic activity (even a small quake can crack heavy pipelines if it is shallow and occurs at the epicenter). The unmistakable smell is everywhere in the building . It does not spread from the bathroom pipelines (it is the same in the room and public areas. The entire building is engulfed in it). This is of course not the fault of the owner (the local authority has the responsibility to fix the pipe) but having browsed previous reviews I noticed the problem was mentioned by a guest already 8 months ago. The owner should at the very least find a temporary solution and place essential oil scents in the rooms and lobby because it really is unpleasant.
Access to the U1 line (underground station) is practically at the entrance to the hotel. The price I paid was low especially considering the location and easy access from and to the airport (the S1 leaves the airport every 20 minutes and there is one change at Wandsbeker Chausse. The entire trip can be as short as 25 minutes). The reception staff is friendly and helpful (the lady on the morning of my arrival also informed me of a strike on the day of my departure. Luckily my flight was not affected but her concern is commendable because up to that point I was not aware of it). Heating.
