The common areas are good and well maintained. But the beds and the place to sleep was not as expected. In the summer it’s a very bad place to stay under one roof with 50 people.

The bed linens and blankets were not washed. Everyone shared the same fitted sheets on the beds which is disgusting. No pillows provided and the “linen” given to each person were rough military style blankets. There were also many people over 30 years old which seems strange for an under 30’s hostel. The staff said that they make exceptions depending on the person’s “vibe.” I wouldn’t stay here if you like sleeping because the curfew time is 1am and the overhead lights and music stay on until then.

Staff were nice and helpful. The grounds and garden were nice. Good area and close to many of the main sites in Munich, well connected via public transport. The bathrooms were decent for a hostel with that much traffic.

there is no information about "Pfand" deposit. And there is also no ATM around this place. so if you don't have enough cash, you cannot pay with card. And have to give to staff your IDcard. What i found really annoying

Kitchen not very nice, says only under 30s but it’s a complete lie. We were under that impression and got awoken by an older gentleman in his 60s-70s, asked the staff about this and said he was let in under ‘exceptional circumstances’

Creepy men, far from centre, cash only but didn’t inform us, says under 30 in tent but there were many people looking at least 50. People walking around in underwear and being strange. Didn’t feel very safe.

There is a girl whose name I don’t want to write, she is nice but she is not helpful ! If you need help and she can do it, she will smile at you but won’t help you ! You can come at the restaurant at 22:40 hungry and need an omelette that can take less than 2 min to be prepared and the omelettes are still on the table of the kitchen ! she will refuse even if she is not the one who will prepare it ! Her colleague that cook this night was surprised about what she said this lady ! If you go to the reception to need something she will pretend that she will do something but quickly she will say that she can’t do anything ! The rest of the personals are amazing and I really thank them 😊

SAM, KESIA, LOUIS what a wonderful people ! I consider them like my family ! I could never guess that they were Germans ! they are more than wonderful people, they represent the real good Germans, warm heart, helpful, polite, serious, kind, generous, respectful … etc THAT IS THE REAL GERMANS HEART ! I was and I’m still happy to meet these lovely and respectful people which they are working very hard, receiving many people, they keep smiling while they are very tired ! they facilitate to all the people who want help and try to find a solution just to make people happy. These people are the best and top in this family place, and finally the rest of the personal are also nice. again SAM, KESIA, LOUIS ! They need to be promoted and soon as managers of this place ! and they deserve from me beautiful gifts i will bring with me next time these gifts just to say thank you for what they did to me 😊🤝

No pillows and in the kitchen staff wasn't the friendliest. In every other area though the staff was amazing so it was overall quite lovely.

The bed's were quite comfortable. For the price it was well worth the stay. In the evening quiet hours were enforced so it was fairly easy to sleep. Staff overall was kind and the people who were at the hostel came from all over and were wonderful. The nightly bonfires were also great.

I really liked the accommodation, a welcoming and easily accessible place. The Tram line takes you very close, which makes it a lot easier. The break fast is very good.

No sheets or pillows for beds, so it's kind of yucky and dirty. Also if you are a girl, there are no curtains around your bed. Ideal for you bringing your own tent

A few drunk guys returned late and loud to the accommodation on my final night, but I was there during the final week of Oktoberfest and absolutely knew what I was getting into :D It would be great if the door to the tent shut automatically as lots of people coming through didn't shut it behind them so I'd get out of bed to shut it. The shower pressure could be stronger.

An incredible site with a great ambience. Excellent food and drink available, and the location is really close to the train station. Really helpful staff who advised me on the right train pass to purchase for my stay. The facilities were clean and the layout of the site is conducive to getting to meet and talk to fellow travellers. I look forward to staying again in the future.

Except the vibe the place isnt really good. Its more expensive than other hostels. The room is a temprorary tent that you share with hundreds of people. Its really far away from oktoberfast or anything else in the city. The bed.. probably not the most hygienic. If i had a girl, i would be wuite concerned for her stay there. But its quite good for "bros-trip"

It basically an exprience to go back to summer camp as if you would be 12. But now alcohol is allowed and you talk to people who have done 1 or 2 things. Compared to many hostels in germany, there is some privacy in the bathroom and there are lockers.

It got really cold in the evening. My neck hurt a lot after this one night. Also, it says not for people above 30 … while I did see people that were defenitely over 40.

The staff was very kind to helping me.
