Despite 2 phone calls confirming the beds pulled apart, found beds were bolted together which staff weren't aware of. No issue if you are travelling as a couple but could be an issue for large groups travelling and having to share. There is a 15e charge to use the sauna which I found excessive given the room consists of 2 showers, a sauna and some loungers.

Had all we needed for the purpose of our trip. The Kitchenette rooms were a great asset although if you are a tea drinker bring your own travel kettle as the kitchenette only has a coffee maker. The hotel is in a great location with many local visitor spots within reach. Right beside train station which made it a convenient base to travel around from. The staff were very friendly and helpful, very security conscious too which I found reassuring. Breakfast had all the basic staples needed. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Water drains slowly in shower and basin. Allowing smokers to smoke right outside the entrance - you can't avoid the smoke.

Only 5 minutes walk to Potsdam train station, bus and tram services. 10 mins walk to old town over the bridge. Air conditioning worked too on warm 29C day. Very clean.

Their central system was not synchronised - we had booked 2 rooms about a month in advance - one Queen Suite (with a kitchen) and one regular room. When we checked in, the person at the reception told us that they didn't have any Suites free, so we would have to stay in 2 regular rooms (how in the world does that happen). The next morning, another staff member apologised for the error and informed us that we could move to the Suite in the evening. Again, when the shift changed in the evening, the new staff had no idea about this discussed shift. There seemed to be a total lack of communication among staff in between shift change. Overall, it was ok for the price (early booking) and the location, but we won't be staying here again.

The permanent staff were polite and the location was great- very close to the Potsdam Hauptbahnof (central train station).

I missed having a kettle in the room. I stayed for 4 nights and it would have been good to be able to make tea in the room instead of needing to buy it from the bar.

The location close to Potsdam train station is excellent. Hotel is quite new, very fresh and modern minimalistic style, I liked it very much. And it was cheap, at least in what I assume is the low season. Of course, if your main target is Berlin, and you plan on experiencing nightlife in Berlin, Potsdam is not necesarily good, it's 40 minutes or more away, but if you are for instance visiting the excellent Museum Barberini in Potsdam, as I was, staying in Potsdam is OK. Or if it just a couple of day trips in to Berlin is enough for you.

My only complaint is, and I find this common in Germany is separate duvet covers. WHY! We stayed in 5 cities this trip and only one supplied a double duvet quilt.

Nice new hotel. Clean and bright room. We chose it as it was only a short walk from the train station. Potsdam is a lovely city, and the hotel was a short walk to the start of the attractions.
