How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No bottle water in room. We had to buy some at reception, there was only metal cap bottles available so they had to be opened at reception as we didn’t bring a bottle opener.
Excellent location, near main train station. Very clean rooms. Breakfast provided was good. Our room was small but adequate for us.

Great hotel, young and modern vibe. Clean room, wonderfull beds and amazing breakfast! Great location also! Perfect parking underground.

Staff did their best but they are not qualified for their tasks. Some of them are immigrants that barely speak German and have no English knowledge so their communication skills were very limited.
Comfortable rooms and very well located just across from the train station.

Lack of tea an coffee making facility but we knew about it before we booked. My room was on the side of very busy road and there were noisy people under our window and everything we wanted was to sleep and rest after the long drive from Amsterdam but I have complained about it and the it has subsided eventually.. I was surprised that morning shift personal hardly spoke English but was very nice and polite

The people in the reception should be trained to have more attention to the visitors. When we passing the reception it should be mandatory to say good morning and try to smile. It look like a funeral. Do not be afraid, try it out!

Would have been good to have a kettle in the room to make tea and coffee. There is a free drink scheme if you don't use house keeping but it's quite disorganised. Difficult to get a hot drink if there are no bar staff around
Excellent room. Despite being very close to the centre and train station the room was very quiet. Shower was excellent and check in easy. There is a luggage room and staff let me use it all day on my check out day for free.

Wi-Fi did not function very well. When it did work, it was slow. There's not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel other than the train station. If I stayed in Potsdam again, I would probably stay somewhere in the old town.
It's close to the central train station. They have a bar which is nice, although I didn't have a chance to get a drink there. The room was comfortable and suited my needs for a short stay. It's close to the river too which is nice.

The cleaning service was not good. They just forgot to clean the room one day and the rest of the days there were hair on the floor. The breakfast was too expensive.
It is brand new and stylish. It is very close to the central station and the city center is within walking distance.

On sunday morning the breakfast room is rather big and noisy.
Brandnew hotel close to the Barberini Museum and the church of St. Nikilai. Very comfortable and a very clean bathroom. Absolute fair pricing. I enjoyed the rich breakfast. A lot of young people visiting this hotel.

I booked the room including breakfast, but on the first day the breakfast team did not show up and there was no breakfast and not even coffee.

One breakfast morning was a disaster! All dirty dishes were still on the tables since no staff doing it. They were over filled with guests and guests were lining up to seat. We end up cleaning tables in order to seat and eat, but most food were empty and too many people lining up waiting for food. 15 minutes to get coffee and 30 mins of food. They're reason was they were just new and newly opened. Management incompetence! They booked all these people so they should anticipated the breakfast will be a zoo! I travelled all over but have never experienced that kind of dilemma! Always be prepare for a big rush! Such a pity those girls in the kitchen running preparing more food! The girl in the desk was in tears because of complaints from guests cannot eat.

We mainly booked this accommodation because of the sauna. apparently the sauna is only open in the morning on weekends and until 10pm weekdays (didn’t say so in the booking or on the website). sat in the sauna at 9:30pm when the sauna went off. told reception about this matter - staff started arguing instead of apologising. That was the most dissatisfying experience in this hotel.
