Great value for money in the only hostel in Curacao and very cheap for a Caribbean island. Dorm had only 1 bunkbed. Good AC. Restaurant reasonable food. 10 minute walk from Punta bus depot ( 2$ ride from the airport, 40$ in a taxi).

One of the only hostel in curaçao with international standards. Very clean, feels like a hotel. Was in a room for two and does not even feel like it. The only down side is that when they gave me the key there was a person in the room already and had to change. Just did not like the fact that they let me handle the situation (bring back the first key, transferring tons of luggage without help..) for a mistake I was not responsible of

The staff was very friendly, the location is quite central (5 min walk to the center) and the facilities including the pool, reading room, small kitchen, etc. are a nice extra.

It was my second time staying there. I love how quiet and peaceful the environment is. Also, I enjoyed using all the pools, perfect for pictures. Plus the rooms were clean, and well kept.

Kitchen´s light beside #504 room is so poor Walking around the hostel after 21h is uncorfotable, so dark, some strangers guys offering drugs..if has drugs bad stuffs happens.. actually not happens to me, it is a government security issue not hostels one.

The cocktail prices at the bar are a bit too high. The hostel breakfast is indeed too repetitive. Everyday: milk, coffee, toast and butter, cheese. If you're lucky, some jam, and that's it. However, we expected that, and there is a minimarket in the hotel were you can buy something additional (they have pastries, fruit, etc), which is a nice option. There's no stove at the kitchen, which limits cooking options if that's your plan. Even though the facilities are great, it's true that they can feel a bit empty, which is weird. The only lively place in the whole hotel was the bar and the pool beside it. The other pools were almost always empty, even if the hotel was supposed to be fully booked. The bar at the other pool was never open, so that could be a reason. And even though they had darts, pool table, petanque, etc. We never saw anyone using them, and in part I think is because there was no staff around to ask to, there was no music and the bar was closed. So maybe that could be improved.

The facilities are really nice, multiple pools, the beach pool by the bar is really nice. Nice clean room. Nice decoration, cool facades, interesting story of the place and the neighborhood. Very close to the city center. Food at the restaurant was decent. We saw in other reviews they didn't serve food at the restaurant after breakfast, but that wasn't the case, they did have a few options for dinner and lunch. Nothing too fancy, but pretty ok and at decent prices. They also have a minimarket open during the day.

This place is truly bizarre. On the paper it is perfect and with the facilities they it should be one of the hot spots in curacao. However you get a weird vibe staying there, lights in common areas are really dark and for a hostel you see no one and there is a weird vibe. How could it be with so many jakuzzis and beach areas available and even a bar? It feels like they have seen better days and management needs to redo a few minor things and they can be a having easy reviews up to 9-10 at booking.com. Local staff was very friendly.

Unfortunately there is just one electrical plug for a room for 4 people, it can be fixed. Also please, add napkins on the breakfast area.

due To some issues with AC,id needed to be serviced,due to weather change and everything, it could have been a cold room with nice welcome since I’ve traveled long hours.

The cleaning ladies were talking very loud every morning, you could hear from the room 😅 the showers and the fridges could be cleaned with more dedication. The kitchen doesn't have a cooking stove, so you cannot really prepare food. Just a microwave and a boiling pot. But for me this was not a big deal.

As a budget traveler I find Ritz the most affordable, close to Punda and Otrananda (the bus terminals) from here you can take the bus to go to at least 5, 6 public beaches. The room was super clean, the bedsheets are all white, towels as well, cleaned professionally. The bathrooms and kitchens are a bit old, but cleaned daily (just people leave trash and don't clean after themselves). The staff is very friendly and attentive. The bar, restaurant and pool are amazing! You get a welcome drink at the check in. I loved everything about this place, I don't understand why it has such a low score on booking. I repeat, the room was clean, with 2 beds, perfect to rest ( this was the most important to me). Also they have a mini market ( pricey but just in case you need something quick). And I think they can prepare a small breakfast there as well. Overall satisfied, great value!!

- dirty!!! - Loads of insects in the room, when we went to the reception to discuss a solution the lady told us it was “normal” - the room smelled SO BAD. The last night we couldn’t take it anymore and just slept with the door open (because there aren’t rooms where you can open the windows by the way) - if you want breakfast after 9AM there is no food anymore to be found, probably not enough for all the guests

Our first and the last time booking a hostel. The pictures didn’t match up with the reality… when booking this we didn’t expect the toilets and the shower to be in the other side of the hostel which made us very uncomfortable since I myself am a small petite woman and there were other people as well. The whole hostel smelled like mold and you could see the damage on the floors walls and ceiling. At night I was freezing cause the blanket we had was just a bottom sheet. We tried to upgrade to the hotel since it looked like there were around 4 rooms available for the rest of our stay at booking.com but at the reception they said no. Well we stayed there for 2 days and left to a fantastic hotel! (Which by the way was actually cheaper than the hostel) The breakfast was not a real breakfast and I think they shouldn’t advertise it like that but it was something to get your day started. The staff were a bit rude except for the lady that checked us in. -Points to her! Also they gave us dirty towels and the whole place was full of mosquitoes and other bugs.

The beach/pool was amazing and the lady who checked us in was nice! It felt good to have security at the entrance.
