The bed was not very comfortable and the shower caddy in the upstairs bathroom was very rusty.

Great location, beautiful grounds, great management, iguanas, cats, plenty of amenities, fast internet, easy parking, safe and secure property. Decent pool, ability to dive from the property, dunk tanks (didn't use but saw divers using them), plenty of snorkeling gear to rent for just $5 for as much and as long as you want. Our unit (2A) also had cooler bags that came in handy, a washing machine (that works, I used it), a decently stocked kitchen with the appliances we needed (stove, oven, toaster, kettle, a few other things). A/c and fans worked well. Rene was super responsive before and during our stay and very friendly when I met him in person. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed an extra day.

The best resort by the seaside. 🌊 A serene environment surrounded by lush green trees and a stunning spot for epic sunsets. Host Rene is very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and must-see spots, including a beach with turtles. 🐢 We received an extended checkout time for our convenience. We highly recommend this place for a lovely stay.

If your plan is to go out at night for drinks and go to bars or dinners this is not the place since it is about 45 min from the tourist area, it was not a surprise for us but wanted to share it because it is important for everyone to have clear expectations.

We loved the view and sunsets also enjoyed the access to the sea to dive… we spent hours jumping to the sea and diving. Everyday at the end of the day we wanted to be at the property to see the sunset. It is close to beautiful beaches 5 min car to playa Piskado where we swan with turtles, Klein knip, Grote knip, Cas Abao 30 min, Puerto Marie 30 min. We rented a car and bought the food in our way to the property (where the host recommended us). The unit was well maintained had everything we would need, we spent great time at the pool and grooming some cats that were around, also bunch of Iguanas in the morning… we really loved Mar Azul

Stayed for 4 nights and I highly recommend this place! First of all, it was very clean. I’m the person that if I see one hair on the bed, I’ve wouldn’t sleep at night thinking the bed is filthy. Second, the place is highly equipped - I had a small cooler and Ice packs to take with me to the beach, it had beach chairs, many towels, amazing kitchen equipment including a blender for those who want to make shakes in the morning/oven/stove/all the kinds of pots/pans/boxes/big fridge - a real home! Third - Rene, the owner, was very responsive and within minutes answered my questions through booking when I had an issue. Fourth and last, the place is 5 minutes drive from the best beaches in the island - Klein Knip, Grote Knip. It is gated, has pool if you want, amazing terrace to watch the sea and sunsets. Just buy everything you need after you land in the airport because there are no supermarkets around. Will definitely be back!

Condo needs a little love, but is great for the price. Blind broken, light over bed didn’t work, screen broken on front door so couldn’t keep downstairs open for natural air flow due to mosquitos coming inside unit. Couldn’t get toaster oven to work.

Location great for diving. Felt safe once sliding door lock was fixed. Gated community. Everyone was very friendly and helpful at the resort. Was inexpensive. Pool great. Scuba and snorkeling available right at location.

You’re far away from town, but in a very comfortable and accommodating spot with beautiful plants, a nice pool, and amazing beaches very nearby.

You need a car — but the location is unbeatable, especially if you’re here for a snorkel or scuba centric stay on the island. Great staff, easy communication, worth springing for a waterfront apartment if one is available. Working from the terrace is unbeatable!

Great location at Westpunt, it's remote and right next to Diving School Sublime Diving. Also you can have dinner at the Cactus cafe which serves good fresh fish. From the resort you can access the sea via stairs for a swim (or diving). We had an apartment with garden view. It's spacious and all the facilities are there. Goods shower!

There were a few minor inconveniences with our apartment, but would still recommend staying at Marazul.

We loved staying in Westpunt area; the restaurants were all great. We visited most of the beaches in the area, snorkeling was excellent. We swam from Marazul to both Forti and Playa Granda. After the ocean each day we hit the Marazul pool. Loved feeding the iguanas.

The light in the pool functions intermittently, and sometimes flashes like you're in a disco. Mostly it is off.

The apartment 8B was very well furnished and included spices, a hair dryer, games, and an iron.
