There was nothing we didn't like! We had exactly what we needed to truly unwind and enjoy beautiful Rarotonga!

Anne is so lovely and gave us a warm welcome. The accommodation is right by the beach, you can walk to the beach and slip into the beautiful lagoon within a minute! We loved the little family of chickens that visited our balcony most days too. Facilities enabled us to cook meals and make coffee in the mornings. Location is great and we could easily catch the bus to make trips around the island. It's also close to a nice cafe if you felt like a great coffee there.

Bed was a little hard for me.

Great location, right on the beach. Unit has been freshly painted inside and out, and little extras added, wind break. Large covered deck helps keep things cool and dry. Great restaurants close by. Loved the Waterline.

We were able to swim out the front of the property but it was a bit limited if you don’t like coral/rocks etc but it is Raro

Ideally, we'd have liked air conditioning, but the accommodation location and comfortable facilities make that a minor issue, and the provided fans were great at keeping us cooler.

Sunset Palms Beach House is ideal for a couple on a self catering holiday in Rarotonga. The west facing location is perfect for lovely sunsets. Annie, Roger and Nootoa are excellent, attentive hosts.

Was surprised we had to wire transfer a deposit to hold the reservation, and pay cash upon arrival and not have Booking.com handle the payments.

Enjoyed our stay at this comfortable spacious beachfront suite. Appreciated the lounge chairs, and soft seating on the deck. Shallow swimming waters out front but sufficient to cool off and teeming with beautiful little aquatic life!

The Sunset Palms is a hidden gem in Rarotonga. The location, accommodation is the best that we have had since we have been going on holiday in Rarotonga. We are looking at taking our whanau back with us on our next holiday.

Water pressure

Setting was terrific, so handy to the beach. The deck was well set up for outside living. Everything was well catered for.

The wind for the last 3 days, our plane being cancelled when the inbound plane could not land because of this. We took a cab back to Sunset Palms where we stayed another 2 nights with Annie also arranging the taxi for the replacement 2.30am flight to Auckland. Very grateful to Sunset Palms and Annie. Air New Zealand also did well with the replacement flights, etc.

Location was great, food not provided but has cooking facilities and good eateries nearby. Consists of 5 family owned units looked after by mother Annie and groundsman Rogello who are 2 really nice people.

Annie and Terry were fantastic hosts. Rogero the grounds keeper, also very friendly and helpful. Grounds are beautiful and tidy. Units are clean and well equipped. Extensive furnished decking areas with gorgeous views, catering for alfresco dining, lounging and sunbathing. With easy beach access at edge of the property, you can go swimming or snorkeling. A 2 minute drive to the left of the property, you'll find a General Store, and 2 minutes to the right Cast Away, Waterline and others, for some dining options. Will definitely stay again!!!
