Restaurant on site was only available for 2 nights out of 5 Slightly difficult to find alternatives. Units could be due for some renovation. There were extra charges for some facilities eg Kayaks & push bikes. Beach loungers need an maintenance/upgrade.

It was very convenient to get your breakfast delivered to your door every morning {with a smile}. The beach is absolutely stunning with a good depth of water for swimming even at low tide. Glorius sunsets from your deck. The free airport transfers are also a bonus. Friendly staff with a smile and a beautiful lei on arrival. Enjoyed my meal {you have the option to take this back to your kabana} and the opportunity to meet other guests socially on Wednesday and Saturdays when the bar and restaurant are open.

The bungalows are fairly small and basic but the views and position on the lagoon made up for it.

The beach front location along a quiet stretch of beach was amazing. The views across the lagoon and the sunsets were hard to beat. I have to mention the staff also, they were.very warm and welcoming and helped with organising transfers and scooter/car hire.

Outside shower not working, toilet badly stained. On check-in, no milk available when asking for coffee/tea until following morning with breakfast.Wifi didn't work in room, however could access closer to reception area.

Cooking facilities in bungalow were very basic with no microwave. Bed not particularly comfortable.

Unfortunately the onsite restaurant was not open and this was one of the key criteria for selecting our accommodation. It might be good to update the website so others can make an informed decision.

We read some of the reviews that were not “glowing”, but honestly, this was the perfect choice for us. It was a well priced accommodation, more than adequate, and in a superb setting on the beach with the backdrop of the mountain. We had last visited 31 years ago and there were not many options on this part of the island at all. We were really primarily expecting the highlight to be trips out on the stunning lagoon. So didn’t have much expectation, but we were blown away by how beautiful this area was as well, and when we couldn’t get out on the lagoon for a number of days because of the wind, we absolutely loved enjoying our accommodation here and this part of the island. Walks along the beach, using the kayaks, and the sunsets, were stunning. The accommodation is basic, and maybe not for some people who want the luxury. But we enjoyed the natural setting and bungalow style. Breakfast was simple but really enjoyable and perfect for us, and more than enough. We think it’s in the best location on the island, for the price, and would definitely stay here again as a preference when next visiting.

The position on the edge of the lagoon was great. The office was not managed but breakfast delivered. Any staff we did see we had to call out to rooms at back to alert.They were friendly. Rooms were adequate and cleaned every 3 days.We all commented on hot water lacking and bathroom showers need major cleaning and repainting. Needless to say hoping details addressed and white wine in bar in future we would come again.

An amazing rustic spot to experience Aitutaki. Self catering with the comfiest beds and pillows. Sunsets that you can only dream about.
