Everything is so easy! Perfect set up at the best location. The lagoon is right there and so is all the equipment you need to enjoy it. Staff are very helpful and so friendly. Store, atm, bus stop, great places to eat are all very close Make this place your base for your Raro trip and you won't regret it.

we were picked up at the airport and the driver had our keys and directed us to our villa as we arrived when the office was closed. Very smooth process. we could see the sea from the villa and was just a few steps away. Loved having the snorkelling gear, SUP and kayaks all of which we used. there were outdoor showers and hoses to rinse everything off. breakfast was provided basic but did the job

Everything was great. There was nothing we didn’t like.

A great location with lagoon views from our room. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great and all water-sport equipment were available for use at anytime. The guest room was fabulous as our flight wasn’t until 10pm. Having a room to use after checkout was a bonus. A peaceful place in paradise!

Everything was good except a lack of kitchen utensils and the second bed in the living room was a bit cramped and the walls were quite thin (there was a big loud family next door)

Everything was perfect. The room was spacious and we had everything we needed. Washing was free. Easy access everywhere - shop nearby, beach right there near the lagoon cruises, excellent eateries next door and across the road, right next to the Muri night market, bus stop right at the front. Super comfy guest lounge for after checking out, easy airport transfers, lovely staff!

during a big storm the living room roof leaked.it was a bit of fun.Imagine owner will fix it. Didnt affect our overall rating of an excellent placeto stay

Gorgeous beachfront property at the spectacular Muri Lagoon. Large bungalow in nice garden setting with kitchenette and everything you need. The large bed was very comfortable

Nothing loved it all.

Loved location right on Muri Lagoon. Our one bedroom self contained sea view (lagoon view) apartment was in a perfect location, not right at the front on u shaped units but still had a view & 30 metres to deck which looked over lagoon & steps to beach. Had our own table & chairs & sunloungers out front of each unit. Apartment was comfortable, separate bedroom, lounge area, kitchen facilities if you’d like to cook(we didn’t), communal laundry (also didn’t use). Simple packed breakfast provided each day, juice, milk, small cereal packs, bread & condiments. Supermarket close by if you’d need more. Swimming pool up front of resort, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkels/flippers, reef shoes, bikes & local bus stop at front. Night market next door (not every night). Resort staff were wonderful, looked after everything we needed during our 7 night stay.

Really only two negatives and a long list of positives 1. The bed was very spongy, we like firm mattresses but it was bouncy. 2. We found that the Beachcomber was reasonable value considering other properties but Raratonga generally is expensive to stay at and if you buy your own groceries, they are eye-waveringly expensive except for meat, which is good value.

Fantastic location on a huge, gorgeous area of the lagoon with lots of sandy base as well as great snorkelling. Many Raratonga properties have rock beds on their lagoon out front, which makes swimming a lot less enjoyable, but the Beachcomber is a perfect mix. Also brilliant was the access to the night food market (next door), amazing Takitumu Tapas (wow food) across the road, plus the truly wonderful Saigon Shack (incredible quality Vietnamese) and excellent Nautilus restaurant, both a short 5min bike ride away. Free bikes were fantastic to have, free unlimited wifi was great for movies on rainy days/nights, kitchen was pretty good for cooking, bathroom/shower was modern and roomy, plenty of interior space overall, nice grounds.

I feel breakfast was a bit basic compared to other resorts on the islands. Fresh fruit, smoothies, bakery bread were some of the choices in other places I visited.

Situated in a great location with lots of restaurants nearby including the night food markets next door. Outdoor lounges and tables were provided for each villa and outdoor equipment for water activities were plentiful. Also 2 viewing areas overlooking the lagoon made for a relaxing environment.

We don’t have any complaints about the stay and have no suggestions on how they could improve it.

Arrived early and they had a guest lounge where we could relax until our room was ready. The room was ready much earlier than expected. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

The pool needs a bit of refurbishment but still a lovely place to relax out of the wind.

Location is amazing, right on the beach and handy to everything, cafes, restaurants and night markets. The units are well equipped and have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Lovely location, close to eateries, activities, access to free kayaks, snorkeling equipment, free laundry, wifi and beautiful gardens. Excellent swimming. Swam with two turtles out the front between the two islands.
