How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Furnishings were a little dated.
We came for the Eras Tour, and the staff could not have been more welcoming and accommodating!

Our room 1207 was very bare bones. There was not enough furniture, carpet or wall hanging and the rooms had far too much echo. There was a large storage closet but no hangers or other storage furniture in it. The heater was not working in the living area and it was cold in those rooms. The shower water was only lukewarm during our stay. The side lamp in the living room did not work. There were no throw pillows or blankets in the living room and it was cold. There were not enough charging locations near the beds.
The staff were friendly and helpful On-site parking was very appreciated Location was great

The locks on door were very poor, happy to see note about them being replaced. Few dishes and cutlery were put away dirty. Couch was worn and material perling

There is a fittness centre on the 26th Floor. The attendees use huge weights and machines which they drop to the concrete floor when finished. They start at 5.30am,yes 5.30am and finish at midnight. The sound shatters throughout the whole building all day and all night. It is excruciating.

The couch in room 403 is in a miserable state, needing a cover. As it deteriorates, pieces of it are coming off and making the floor dirty.
Lot of space! Great location! Would definitely come back.

Breakfast room is a bit small and crowded for the number of guests
Location: several eateries and shops very close. Subway station a quick walk away. Comfort: Comfortable beds and sofa. Great to have a kitchen. Staff: Very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room and it was resolved quickly without any fuss.

Bathrooms were a tad on the smaller size. Little counter space in bathroom. 40.00 a night for parking. (Not bad just an FYI) There is a 150.00 deposit fee, which should be returned to you 3 days after you check out.
Location was great. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The few kitchen utensils were missing, however I got what I needed by calling housekeeping. The front desk also took note of my complaint. .
The beds were amazing. The staff is extremely efficient and dedicated. .

We must have purchased the room at a poor time since it was relatively expensive. The building itself is a bit old and one of the elevators were not functioning during part of our stay. We did not entertain the breakfast offerings since the staff suggested it was mediocre but I cannot confirm for myself.
The staff at this location were very attentive and generally pleasant to communicate with. The room was relatively big and adequately maintained with sufficient power outlets, functioning A/C and an adequately comfortable bathroom.

Our first room was very disappointing but we were moved immediately. Location was OK.
The reception and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our room which was sorted out immediately. Well equipped, clean, comfortable and modern suite. Good continental breakfast provided.

The coach in our room was peeling.
Staff was very nice, helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had a very nice walk-in shower. Clean. Has everything we needed. Great value for the money. Walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants.
