Inexpensive tiny huts, perfect for a one-night stay

The Wifi wasn’t working for us and the doors were loud when opening, which was disturbing at night. Bathrooms floors could be slightly cleaner, but that’s hard when walking in with hiking shoes.

The huts exactly match the description, nothing more and nothing less. We had a comfortable stay for one night as a group of three. There is a great pub and an amazing cafe just around the corner, but they also provide a recreation room with basic kitchen facilities. Shared bathrooms were sufficiently clean.

Not a single hook in the bathrooms??? No shelf, no hooks, nowhere to hang anything??? In the washroom, no hooks?? Hut lacked them too. Just makes life so much more hygienic and convenient.

Clean huts, clean bathrooms, quiet stay. Location is close to what you need.

I don't like bedding that isn't cleaned between guests i.e. heavy fleece blanket that isn't in its own cover - so did not use this. The bring your own towel policy could be included on the booking.com page and not at the bottom of a long message (not sure anyone has time to read multiple messages from every booking when travelling around) but you can rent towels at the owner's hotel next door so that was fine. The rough wood edges/inside of the bed is clearly difficult to clean and had already accumulated dirt/dust.

It was much more comfortable than I expected. The mattress was good quality, the cabin and bathrooms were largely clean and smelt fresh, and the heater was effective with an individual thermostat.

Hot water tap wasn't available only for one washroom and code wasn't working for one of the door at one of the washroom.

The serenity and natural environment. Not the usual busy commercially overrated towns.

Went here alone to come down after a business trip and it was everything I needed: comfort, clean Huts, less tourists, pure nature, only few markets, but also working wifi (as there were few comments about it but it worked perfectly) I loved it! Would definitely come here again for a silent weekend.

unfortunately there was a loud motorcyclist outside arriving later then starting his bike and leaving it idling.- nothing anyone can do about that. We would have appreciated two hooks bu the window to make a makeshift curtain

location and value for money was ideal. I am happy with the accommodation and simplicity but my friend is not used to it! but the beds were comfortable, showers great and close to the hut and it was dark.

Understandably some amenities are limited due to the nature of the accommodation. There were no blinds on the windows, so get creative with getting changed at night! And due to the time we were staying the hut was VERY warm without the heating on but I imagine during winter that will be a blessing. Only thing that was a bit rough would be the showers. There are a lot of signs of old or residual mold that made me feel less clean getting out than before I went in. Otherwise great stay.

The Hiker Huts were great for what they were! We stayed in some of the basic huts. A comfortable stay for where we needed to go. My partner and I needed a place to stay on our road trip near Port Renfrew and this place did the job perfectly. The cafe across the road is also delicious and I would highly recommend it. The beds were comfortable and good for a stop. The rooms were clean and very well insulated. They also provided additional blankets too in case you weren't warm enough bringing your own things along. Parking was a little confusing at first but just read the instructions and you won't have as much hassle as I did haha.
