Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaThe only small thing was the shower took a super long time to get warm and the water never got really hot but warm enough.
Extremely happy about the hotel and it's location. Very clean, spacious and comfortable rooms and bed. A little kitchenette and a grocery store, cafés and SAQ (liquor store) across the street. Pur bed was super comfortable and loved that it had a living room and walk in closet and dressers. 5 minute to Metro which is the subway with super easy route to downtown. Lots of restaurants and pubs within walking distance so fabulous location. The value for the room was fantastic. I would stay again and would definitely recommend.

CanadaRoom was very warm and I couldn't get the air conditioner to work, only the fan. I had to open the window to cool the room down.
Comfortable bed and nice to have all the kitchen amenities.

United StatesNo real view. Rooftop and other hotel rooms out of the window. Inside the walls of the room were bare except for the TV. White walls with no artwork at all.
Room size was great. Parking was easy. Walkable to food and groceries. Quiet room. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Really a pleasant stay. The chocolatier/ cafe connected to the lobby was nice.

United StatesThe 2 double beds had small black hairs on all of the sheets (outer, flat and fitted) of both beds. We suspect or at least hopeful it was laundered in as the place was otherwise spotless, and sheets smelled fresh. But still a turn off, for sure. The beds were way too hard for our liking. Still, we would stay again without hesitation, next time my mom is in the hospital and needs us. It is a great mini home away from home.
Stayed for a night to visit my mom at the hospital and this is exceptionally located to both the Jewish General and Saint Mary's. The hotel is on busy Cote Des Neiges which is dotted with restaurants, and across the street from the bus line to get you downtown, or metro to access all of Montreal. The interior was such a pleasant surprise, quiet and spacious rooms. Very homey feeling.

ItalyDon't go there if you want the typical hotel breakfast, you have to buy your own at the resident chocolate bar. But I always do my breakfast in the room anyway.
Excellent position if you are going to Université de Montreal. Perfectly furnished for long-term stays, huge apartments with large and functional kitchen and a huge living place. Recently renovated apartments, much better than they were a few years back. A Metro supermarket close nearby, several eateries along Cote de Neiges

United StatesThe hotel's building is partially under construction, as are the nearby roads, and the beeping and thumping starts very early in the morning. Also the road construction makes car use practically impossible. We did walk up and over Mont Royal and get downtown that way. It was a nice experience, but again, it may not be for everyone!
Exceedingly clean, large suite for a good price. It is located in Cote des Neiges, a lovely energetic neighborhood, rather than downtown or near tourist areas. The metro is a block away, but the ride to somewhere like Berri-UQAM is long-ish with a line transfer. Many downtown restaurants have branches right on Cote des Neiges which saves an evening commute.

United StatesProfessional, curtious, and warm reception. Charges & parking clearly explained. Room was PALATIAL and design of room was highly functional. The closet could hold 2 large pieces of luggage & 2 carry-ons with space to spare. The room smelled so clean and everything was very tidy when we walked in. The refrigertor in the kitchenette was large enough to hold some snacks and a few bottled beverages (smaller than liter size). Multiple restaurants & cafes on the block. A 24/7 outdoor grocery with fresh produce is steps away. Metro stops are within a few blocks (the metro was very clean, safe, & timely). Parking is available at the hotel. Construction is ongoing and the street is "busy". There is space for 1-2 small-medium size cars outside the hotel to briefly park. Check-in with staff was needed before the car could be parked in the underground lot. Enterance & spaces are tight. Might want to consider renting a more compact vehicle.

United StatesClean room, comfy beds, nice balcony view of St. Joseph’s cathedral and street scene. The below-ground parking worked well, although we got lucky that nobody parked in front of us. Check-in was easy. There was an amazing bakery right next door which we enjoyed for breakfast.
