How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable- old mattress. To the concierge’s credit he noted this and was going to request it be replaced.
Superb location. Fabulous spacious apartment and well appointed for family. Wonderful pool and jacuzzi.

No onsite food service, although lovely eateries within close walking distance. Car parking spaces are tight for larger cars
It was well located with parking and a short walk to the lake and lakeside walks. Right by the gondola for exploring the mountains. Kitchen was well stocked and having arrived too late to visit the supermarket it was lovely to have tea and coffee available for the first morning.

I stayed in Whistler Village last time I came to visit my son. I thought Creekside was a much better location and the buses were very easy to take to the village. The pool at Legends was beautiful, the area really clean and it was great to get towels to use by the pool. Any questions I needed to ask were answered and I loved that I was given a map. The kitchen was really well equipped and I was amazed that there was a washing machine/dryer too. I couldn’t fault Legends Hotel at all. Thank you for a special place to stay

The apartment was spacious and clean. We found everything we needed from kitchen role to detergent. It was very well equipped and in perfect condition. The bed was very comfortable. The Hotel Complex was very well kept with friendly and helpful stuff.

Can't think of anything I didn't like.
The hotel was very good...The location was beautiful and surrounding was extremely good. They also have hot tube and warm swimming pool..we enjoyed spending time in it. Rooms were good, clean and big enough. Overall it was a very good place to stay. The staff was also helpful and provided us useful info related to local hiking.

The TV could use an upgrade. It wasn't possible to connect to streaming services.
Situated besides a creek among the trees, away from the crowds. The unit was perfectly appointed and had everything we needed. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Really like the building hot tub and pool.

We had a booking for three adults but only had towels for two.

It was a drive away from main shops and restaurants (which we didn’t realise).
Fantastic facilities, great pools and spacious rooms. We were on road trip so the laundry facilities were much appreciated. We visited in summer, but if you’re there in winter to ski, this property is right next to ski lift.

The room was the perfect size for us and we loved the hot tubs with the mountain views. All the facilities were very clean and the location right next to Creekside Village was great. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again.

Maybe the woodwork needed a little bit of love. A few dings and scratches on bathroom units and in other places but didn't affect our stay.
The room had everything we needed. The bar and restaurant had great meals.
