It took 3 days to fix locks on our room, we were not able to lock the doors or unlock with our codes so we had to ask staff to let us into our room on multiple occasions.

The place was very clean when Jodi was there but as soon as she had some days off the place was dirty, she was carrying the whole place on her shoulders, the test of the staff seemed lazy.

this place has a lot of potential but little care has been given. Pretty run down and not clean. Manager not very professional but it seems he’s the only one taking care of the place.

Gets loud at night as there is a bar down the hostel, especially on the weekends. A little hard to sleep.

The area is pretty pricy, but this was the best deal we could find last minute. Also, because it’s a party hostel, the music on the bar in the lobby can be loud to some people. There were some live bands when we stayed. Besides, our bedroom was just beside the kitchen, so we could hear people there in the middle of the night. Nothing that would make our experience be bad though.

It was super clean. We were afraid of the shared bathroom, but it was incredibly clean 24/7, both the male and female ones. Also, people seem to be pretty friendly and respectful. The bar in the lobby has cheap beers and live music some times. The location is just amazing!! In the heart of Canmore. We loved it!

As others have stated, the place can be noisy, noise from other rooms and from people walking back and forth travels into the room largely due to the hole under the door, but the night I was there was not a late night noise evening so it was fine for me.

I enjoyed the cheap price for a private bedroom located in the middle of Canmore. The people I met were nice and the shared bathroom was surprisingly mostly clean whenever I used it. There's even a microwave and a fridge right next to the bed in the room, though there was no table in the room.

The soundproofing is indeed not very good — I could hear people talking in the common areas. However, it was only an issue on the first night; the other two nights were quiet. It would be helpful if the hotel could post quiet hours to remind guests.

I was initially worried due to the many negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. My room was very clean and well-equipped, with a large TV, microwave, and refrigerator. There were two nightstands, and the charger was conveniently located nearby. We didn’t use the kitchen, but it looked nice and fully functional. The location is excellent, and the view outside the hotel is beautiful!

The beds were very uncomfortable(I stayed in 2 different bedrooms). I couldn’t control the temperature of the room (it somehow got too cold during the night). Also there is no soundproofing at all. Couldn’t sleep for a few hours on the first night because there was a rock concert in the bar downstairs. It felt like having the musicians inside the room.

Staff was friendly and welcoming, the location was perfect. Check-in was easy.

The room was small but met our expectations. During our stay, they were painting, so things were a bit chaotic, but it wasn’t really a problem. Everything went smoothly, and both check-in and check-out were easy. The bathrooms were quite clean, and I loved that they provided Pantene shampoo and other toiletries. Very comfortable. The accommodation is really central—we recommend it!

They were doing renovations while we stayed but they did them so fast and after a few days we had a brand new kitchen, which was great !

The hostel is historic but modern, we stayed in a queen bedroom with a shared bathroom and it was so cosy, plenty of space! Abe helped us with anything we needed and the owners were so lovely. A family feel to the hostel!

the kitchen was missing equipment making it non-functional. There wasn't included breakfast as listed. The "bar" downstairs was Saturday night a techno club, so everything in our room was vibrating with the bass. The quiet hours made no sense as the bar does not comply with these.

Small room, thin matress. I did miss a reading light. The door code didn't work. Not the coziest place. It felt really cheap and wasn't really welcoming.

The Party hostel is located downtown. Everything you might need is close by. Staff was really helpful and handled the doorcode issue fast.
