Not a bad location. The bus to Seria is nearby and there's a night market within 10 minutes walk. Many sights are close by too

Odor! The entire hotel smells like a piece of old wood that was soaked in dirty water and got mildew/mold anywhere and everywhere. It feels like you could inhale the mold. Also, the humidity in the room. Horrible. All the facilities were totally outdated. In a simple word, the hotel needs an overhaul/renovation. The bed was not providing enough support.

Nice breakfast. Even though the options were limited, the food was nice enough. Highly recommend the Char Kway Teow or any local-style breakfast. Courtesy and helpful staff. It is a nice location to walk to the main attractions and national landmarks. That was nice.

Its old and not quite good. No coffee or no water at all. Staff didnt help for luggage. Food need to pay though we book for two. Food is fair.

No bidet and we had to buy a small bucket for cleaning. The tissue roll was given thin. Dirty and rusty Kettle. Had to go down to the cafe just to get hot water, luckily we brought our bottle warmer. TV is not functioning well. Please check everything. Not worth it. And please change your pillows.

At least the aircond and water heater are working fine.

Little slow on the communication

They should rebrand as a 60s theme hotel, everything is so retro and classic. Really fun experience of traveling through time. We were the only guests so pretty much had the place to ourselves. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, nice view of the trees outside. Pool is great and there's a darts room and pool room. Meals are cheap and easy. It rained and the reception gave us their umbrella ☔

The hotel is worn out, dirty and looks like it is falling apart. It smells and in the room it is plenty of black mold on the walls, not only in the bathroom. No light in the stairs and one elevator was not functioning. From a health perspective I did not take the chance to stay, so I moved out before the first night. No money back of cource. Booking.com should remove this hotel from their website.

Upon late night arrival, the room felt dark, dismal, depressing. Plus the next morning walk into town felt too far, considered switching, but hate moving hassle (stuck it out, glad I did, appreciated mucho after all). Hotel very old, not well-maintained. One day, I heard rain, looked outside - nada. Twas in my BATHROOM - serious leakage from room above. Staff offered another room next door, carpeting hazardous, chose to stay put. Staff cleaned my bathroom, didn’t happen again. Pool closed at 6 pm. In the hot humid evenings, Twould hace been lovely to be able to swim. Complained. Told management policy. Here to say BAD POLICY.

Staff most accommodating, especially the breakfast server. Pool and setting terrific. Location agreeable after all. The apricot-colored towels! Lovely lobby, dining room and patio outdoor table setting.

- Room is very old and smells, as if I'm living in the past century. The old elevator shakes as if making milk shake. - Bathroom tap water cannot be shut down completely, a bit noisy. - Pool and gym are not free.

Reception staff is very friendly and helpful. 10 minutes walk to city center shopping mall and the mosque.

The facilities need refurbishments such as the cupboard and toilet door. The air-conditioning did not function in the last 3 nights I was there. So, it was quite hot at night. There is no buffet, only ala carte, for breakfast; which must be paid for separately from room charges.

The hotel's staff were very friendly and helpful. Location-wise, it is very strategic. The room is spacious and equipped with basic necessities. The outer facade of the hotel looks very gloomy.
