How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Dinner menu was not very well. Prices: I booked the hotel for 3 daya and 2 nights and tüy wanted ne to par extra charge for first days breakfast. Swimming poo: Pool was so crowded and small

The food is not wow. We purchased the "seafood" night and disappointing as it serves only less selection on shrimps, mussels and clams. Not to purchase anymore.
Ths ambiance, all staff were accomodating, the room is clean and bed was comfy. The amenities are good..best thing just a walk to the beach, nice cool pool.

Some of the guests were insulting about my clothes, I am a tourist and covered myself as best I could and was still insulted. Not hotels fault but still not nice

View from the balcony. JBR the best location, many restaurants, fastfood, pharmacy, beach everything is around the corner. Staff was welcoming and generous. Breakfast and dInner was good. Breakfast had hot and cold varieties. I was there for my son birthday, hotel sent a cake and offered me late checkout. Thanks

I loved the view, how big the rooms are, and how central the location is.
JA Ocean View Hotel is located in a bustling part of the marina. It is near the beach, restaurants and other amazing attractions. Staying there has made it easy to simply walk to wherever.

Wish if there were 2 suites in one floor option, or option on booking that allow 2 rooms in one floor or atleast help our booking be in one floor as a whole family.
Nice location and easy car entrance and exit compared to other hotels. Staff were friendly and accommodated all our requests

Nothing that i didnt like
We had an unforgettable honeymoon at JA Ocean View Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, especially Umer he went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. He truly made us feel special and made sure every detail was taken care of. One of the highlights was the thoughtful surprise they prepared: a delicious cake delivered to our room as a honeymoon gift. Such a kind and personal gesture! The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking waking up to the stunning sea view each morning was a dream. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you to the entire team, and a special thank you to Umer for making our honeymoon one to remember!

Everything was great. Although, if you want a space at the pool you have to be there early as the pool area is quite small for the amount of guests. However the pool is beautiful too.
I spent one week here with a group of friends to celebrate our birthdays. The hotel was fantastic and the location was perfect!! Umer on reception was incredibly helpful, respectful and friendly. I was offered an upgrade upon arrival which was amazing! The view from my room was beautiful and the room itself was clean and tidy. The hotel staff were amazing from start to finish! The staff helped us to book cabs when needed and were very approachable. The facilities in the hotel were great, nice restraunts inside the hotel and very close to the beach. The breakfast in the hotel is worth including in your stay as it is very good and the staff there are accommodating.

Overall great spread out, However not much in terms for people who don't eat beef and pork. Very less to none options for chicken dishes.
