We have travelled a lot in India but this was one of the most beautiful experiences we had so far. Camel ride in the desert by the sunset and the desert trails were just next level. We did night star gazing and saw shooting stars. Since we wanted to spend alone time we skipped the folk events and enjoyed the night safari. I must say the staff guided us well and went beyond the boundaries to serve their best.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was the highlight of our trip so far. The property is well taken care of, the room was nice, big and clean and stayed cold during the day even without turning the AC on. The food was exceptional, really delicious and not too spicy for non Indians. The staff was super friendly, accomodating and good English speaking. The owner booked a safari to the National park for us. It was well organised. The hotel is not at the usual pick up point for the safari, so a driver was organised to bring us to the entry gate of the park. This hotel is really for those you want to have a quite escape from the big cities and enjoy nature a little bit.

I think you can introduce more of Himachali dishes in your breakfast. Bhandari savoured us with excellent matar puries veggies and loads of his life stories. The music was excellent. I loved the cricket connection and the fact that one of the apartment blocks is a tribute to the Wanderers stadium in South Africa. The staff were wonderful and attended to our every need. We were graciously allowed an early check- in. Our room was spacious and fully functional. We absolutely loved this resort and would recommend the Radisson Blu Dharamshala without hesitation.
