Resorts in Maafushi

The hotel service is very good, there is no limit on food and beverages, the room is cleaned every day, our housekeeper Ms. TUYA arranged our itinerary perfectly, I will choose this hotel next time I travel

Everything was great. After the plane ride it is great to go directly to the hotel by speed boat. No need to make an extra trip. Jennifer was a great assistant. Super, patient and unlimited support in everything. We will miss her. The waiters and hotel staff were very polite. Jülide and Mert.

From end to end, our stay at Anantara Dhigu was smooth, relaxing and beautiful. Firstly, the resort staff is there for you from arrival until the check-in at the airline desk. I didn’t see many other resort providing this level of service to the other tourists lining up at the airport. You are greeted on arrival and the boat trip to the resort is only a little bit over half an hour, making it very convenient after traveling long haul. We stayed in an over water sunset villa and it was simply stunning. Some have hammock nets over the water and some have pools, both options looked lovely depending on your personal preference/need. The villa is clean and spacious, and is decorated tastefully. It feels very private and the view was beautiful. We opted for the half board option and that suited us well. We mostly ate at Fushi Cafe with the exception of one lunch at Aqua and one dinner at Baan Huraa but those just didn’t live up to the exceptional food at Fushi Cafe. There was a lot of choice as well as variation from day to day. The resort itself is very well designed and there is plenty of exploring to do, both on land and in water. As it sits in a lagoon, it also provides for shelter from wind on one side even on the windier days. Our villa for example tended to get a lot of wind but when dining at Fushi Cafe on the other side of the island, it was very peaceful. It is also easy to wade in the water to snorkel island and snorkel in the coral reef there. There is a pontoon constantly operating between Dhigu and Veli making it very easy to go to the other island. Compared to the other resorts I think this location within the lagoon and spanning over several islands makes it so interesting and unique. There are so many things I could mention but these are what were really memorable and noteworthy, as well as the staff of course who are very polite and attentive. I would definitely visit again.

The staff were amazing - without exception - the key members all knew our names and made us feel very welcome. The quality of the food was exceptional - great choice with new dishes every night. The island is stunningly beautiful and reserved only for guests. Great gym and spa treatments. Can’t wait to visit again.

White sandy beach, turquoise waters, the caressing sun, the lush vegetation, the Coconut Groves stretching into the sky, the ocean view villa with its rooms and great views (Sunrise from the ocean), the michelin level and 24 hour a day open Living Room restaurant with great views of Sunset, the warm hospitality and problem solving attitude of the staff was excellent and they put a lot of effort into cleaning up! Among the high quality staff at Naladhu Island, I would highlight the exceptional resort manager Fathimath Shaazleen, the efficient all-rounder Aslam, the excellent chef Arnab at the Living Room, the professional floor manager Mico at the Living Room, and all the other staff at Naladhu Island.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Kandooma! We would like to specially mention a few staff who made our stay much more enjoyable on top of the great variety of food and incredible views! Throughout our stay, especially during meal times, there were a few staff who we would like to express our thanks to for their courtesy and consideration in taking care of our needs. Thanks so much Ali and Ratheesh for being so warm, welcoming and for looking out for the finer details that made our stay more pleasant. Such as preparing coffee specifically for us and putting a smiley face on our omelette :) The chefs were also really accommodating, special thanks to Eddie and Dian for the awesome food and for specially preparing a Singaporean delight just for us (Nasi Lemak) cause it was just so comforting! Chef Badal was also so helpful when he helped specially prepare a risotto for my mum when she wasn’t feeling too well! There was also a female Chinese staff who was really kind and helpful (unfortunately we didn’t take note of her name) We would also like to thank the following F&B staff for your service over the course of our trip! Boopathi, Renuka and Gothoo, we really appreciate your efforts and your contribution to our enjoyable stay! The staff at the watersport centre were also so friendly and helpful, especially the snorkeling instructor (whose name we didn’t manage to find out) He really made snorkeling so much easier and fun for us as beginners! Lastly, to the singers who sang for us every night during dinner, we loved your voices and your music really made our nights! There were so many staff who made our trip so special and we’re so grateful to all of you! We would definitely recommend Holiday Inn Kandooma to our friends and family, and hopefully we’ll get to go back again ❤️

Very convenient location, 45 minutes by speedboat from Male. Clean ocean and well-groomed territory. Friendly staff, our manager TJ was always ready to help and resolve any issues in a short time. I would also like to note the work of the staff at the Sunset restaurant (especially: the waiter Babul, the ice cream man Heron and the fruit man Emran). Varied menus in the restaurant.

Resort spectacular, restaurants great

Maldives is all about its private Islands. Fihalhohi island provides an surreal experience with its views and amenities. The food was top class, the room was very clean. The view all around the island were breathtaking.

The ocean suite has a nice interior design and decoration, and a wonderful ocean view. The surrounding is quiet and beautiful. My wife and son said it is 1000x better than all villas and hotel rooms he had been to. The restaurants are nice and let us experienced flavors from different styles. The fun activities in the dive center, and the spa are also great. What impressed me the most is the professionalism and kindness of the staff. Special thanks to our butler Alia who helped us in every way responsively, Ane, who worked in the kids club and took great care of my son when my wife and I went for fun activities for 1 or 2 hours. Also to mention Dario, a Chinese girl who helped us voluntarily when we needed it :) I did not took down the names of staff in the dive center and photo studio unfortunately, but I got the strong sense that they did their best to bring us wonderful experience and memory. Every staff is friendly and will say hello to us. Many thanks to all of you.
