This area is more upscale than many, and so has good shopping and eateries galore. We used the location to venture every direction - Valley Fair, MoA, Uptown/Downtown Mpls, zoos, museums - most within a 15-20 minute drive. Really, some of the best shopping available within a relatively small area means more time for fun. There is no shortage of activities to reach from Bloomington, and we will stay there again. Though Fat Lorenzo's pizzeria has a Minneapolis address, it's worth a little drive.Guest review byBD MeierUnited States - 10.0

Beautiful city which is under rated and prefers not to hype itself. Amazing eateries such as Spoon and Stable, The Breakfast Club, Union Center Restaurant, Surly Brewing Company with their special brews and food to name a few! There are fantastic coffee shops and bakeries like Black Walnut Bakery. Lovely parks and lakes to take a stroll and the people are so friendly. Great place to shop! City is much more cleaner than other American cities. Definitely worth a visit! Minneapolis has it all!Guest review bySanjeev PatelKenya - 10.0

We visit Duluth every year for City On The Hill Music Festival. This time we were there for the Tall Ships Festival Of Sail 2025. So, 2 times in 2025. We ate at Grandma's and Little Angie's - both I would highly recommend!!! We also ate at the Duluth Perkin's - also a great choice!!! We always go to the Portland Malt Shop for Ice Cream or a Malt - delicious, but expect a lengthy wait in line. We took a cruise on the Vista Star, which is always fun and relaxing!!! We visited Two Harbors another day. And went to Burlington Station and Callie's for some unique Fudge - Pistachio, Cookies and Cream, and Cotton Candy flavors, and Popcorn. Love Duluth and the Two Harbors areas!!!Guest review byJacquelineUnited States - 10.0
Everything about Rochester is gorgeous, people very friendly...
Everything about Rochester is gorgeous, people very friendly, everything you want or need is within walking distance. Buses for the amazing Mayo Clinic fantastic! The Mayo Clinic it’s self is so well organized, caring staff, doctors amazing, treatment or procedures are the best in the United States 🇺🇸. We traveled from Montana to Rochester Mayo Clinic for our daughter’s surgery. We met so many amazing doctors and staff. I wish all hospitals and medical professionals would travel there and see what it is like to be efficient, caring, compassionate and real medical staff. Our hospital and clinics, Benefis hospital, Great Falls clinic don’t come even close to patient care, communication , or even caring about a patient’s condition. Most of the time the doctors don’t even communicate with you. Other than that there is So much to see and do in Rochester. It’s beautiful and green..Guest review bySylvia AnnUnited States - 10.0

Besides the hotel, we only ate at one other place, which was the Railcar restaurant on seventh street. excellent food and staff. We were there for a high school graduation party and watched several softball games in the area. Highways and streets were well marked and close.Guest review bypeggy - 8.0

My sister and I like the Treasure Chest Thrift store and Modern Barnyard. We like that there are lots of good restaurants to choose from. We ate at Granite City and the food was very good. Prices are reasonable and the Bloody Mary was excellent! We also went to St. Joseph's and loved their coffee shop and stores. Walking trails are great too.Guest review byBritz - 8.0

it's out of the way, but really, you can get almost anywhere in the mpls area in a half hour. it was contiguous with chanhassen where most of my activities took place. it's kind of a small-ish town so it's not congested. i like that it's near the highways.Guest review bymarilynnUnited States - 4.0

Run-down section of town with many boarded-up shopping centers. Had I known the hotel was in this type of area we likely would have stayed elsewhere. Fine if you never planned to leave the hotel and planned to have all of your meals in the hotel. Not fine if you planned to eat in nearby restaurants or take a walk in the area/neighborhood surrounding the hotel.Guest review byJWL80303United States - 10.0

My friend took me around to places of interest, restaurants and artistic venues. Couldn't really tell you where all we ate, most of it was middle eastern and it was quite good. I never felt like I was as close as I was to metropolitan areas because it was quiet and secluded. Getting around, not the easiest due to construction, but detours well markedGuest review byWaterman - 6.0
The rooms are overpriced for what you get.
The rooms are overpriced for what you get. Location is the key to $. Stay at a less expensive nice place and Uber. Our family came for the weekend expecting to use the pool area in between sports events. The pool was out of order. We were told we would get a discounted rate and that didn’t happen. The water pressure in the shower was a trickle, the complimentary shampoo and conditioner in the shower were empty and the water temperature was luke warm.Guest review byLesaUnited States
