This was a lovely hotel, and the staff were helpful. The room was large, new and very modern. Great bathroom with a rain shower - very nice room. Location was fabulous. Close to the river, and some amazing restaurants to choose from for cocktails, dinner and brunch. Also, very walkable to the old town of Vancouver.

Good but pricey hotel in excellent location for the Oregon Convention Centre with easy access to downtown and other attractions using the MAX public transportation. The rooms are nice and clean and have all the basics, including a good-size safe. The Market in the hotel provides quick breakfast options with good quality. The hotel restaurant breakfast is expensive and options a little limited but good quality in a relaxed atmosphere.

These tiny houses are adorable. We were a group of 3 couples traveling together and we each picked out a tiny house. We loved the themes and the cute little courtyard too. The spaces inside were adequate for the most part, and we were able to access storage lockers to put our luggage in that we weren't using during this part of our trip.

I planned to visit the city, but after reading up and hearing from some people that lived there i changed my plans. I decided to just visit for the day. The city is suffering from drug and homeless problems, I was told they are trying to reverse a policy of all drug legalisation, which hadn't gone well. I have travelled globally and to some poor countries and bad cities in the past, this had a bad vibe about the place. The "famous" bookstore is just like any other and nodiscript. Voodoo doughnuts which are on the must do list, are again completely overrrated. My advice, skip Portland and do Seattle instead.

We drove from Los Angeles to Vancouver and the route that we took we had to drive through Eugene. It was absolutely beautiful. It's surrounded by lakes, streams and beautiful tall trees that just takes your breath away. It's peaceful with not a lot of traffic with eateries along the way. We only drove through but that drive make us want to come back and visit. We loved it

Salem is quite small and unfortunately the state capitol was undergoing building work (it's one of the main sights). Not too many shops and restaurants downtown but the ones I went too were very good. Good place for a couple of days visit.

I only live 30 min north of Vancouver, my reason for visiting was my pets and 4th of July noise. If you are visiting the Portland Or/Vancouver area, the Vancouver side of the river is just less crowded than the Portland side. For a very good meal, Little Italy downtown Vancouver has been one of my favorites for several years great food and good people. Visiting especially down town Portland, I would recommend driving to the Van Port park and ride then take the yellow line train into down town, way easier and cheaper than paying for parking downtown. If it is raining go to the expo center park and ride, it's the end of the line there is always a train there so you can wait inside the train. In Portland, every one uses the train. And umbrellas are for tourist lol

    I love Springfield!

I love Springfield! the Willamette river, the McKenzie river, Mt. Pisgah are so close. Eugene is the other side of I-5. Up north is the McKenzie bend. Springfield starts the Willamette north bank bike and foot trail on Pre's Trail into Eugene that comes back down the south back to Knickerbocker bicycle bridge.

Had to move our room when we first got there we were put in the back of the motel people were smoking cooking it was a nightmare. She moved us to the back of the motel again just a little ways from where we were the room was not clean at all it the floor was filthy it looked like they never mocked it. And the price the week before because I had to cancel was $20 less and when I asked her about the extra $20 she said well you know things change.. my son was this is disabled with Ms so we had to have a room on the bottom floor it was just a weird experience why you would only put people in one section when the rest of the motel was empty almost I didn't get that.

Nice community! Will definitely visit again - as soon as the economy improves. It is a shame the economy is not better. Highly recommend the Comfort Inn. Very high level of service was provided. Jeb, Ana and Aimee will take great care of you. Clean, friendly and easily navigable community. Food trucks are a must.

My stay at this hotel makes everything convenient.

My stay at this hotel makes everything convenient. Can see your car from any room. Great breakfast to start your day shopping at huge mall. Any store you can think of. Top rate doctors and medical close by. Some places are a little hidden but they are there, like Costco. Banks are not far but around 3 miles. Great food!! Close to 205 if you prefer to go into Portland but there really isnt any need. 205 branches into any main city street. I use to live in Portland for 17 years and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. There is also a great spa near by.
