Not that much to do in Denver itself, and the scenery around the city was disappointing, especially when compared to where I live. Restaurants were not that interesting and there was little variety. Thrift stores were the highlight of my visit, and there were a lot of trendy thrift clothing stores, although they were primarily for youngish women. Cultural diversity was lacking.Guest review byLarsLAUnited States - 10.0

Colorado Springs has a great Zoo, as well as other places to hike besides Garden of the Gods. Old Colorado City and Manitou Springs are so much fun for an afternoon of shopping and trying some great food. There are some fun thrift stores, as well as other shopping throughout the city. You would need a good 5 days to see everything, and that does not include venturing out to Pike's Peak and/or Cripple Creek.Guest review bychristineUnited States - 10.0
We loved this cute town tucked away in the Rocky Mountains.
We loved this cute town tucked away in the Rocky Mountains. We loved seeing the Elk walking around. We loved eating breakfast at the Egg in town. It was an easy drive from Denver. We loved walking around Estes Lake and Bear Lake. We took a 12 day tour into the mountains and loved it!Guest review byBarbaraUnited States - 8.0

Grand Junction is another wonderful Colorado town with its own separate history. Lots of trees, lots of architecture, and a community pride in their Main Street. An easily walkable, safe winding old town city street with family shops and special art displays. There are 4 major hotels near the convention center and downtown and any one of them are very desirable to stay. I stayed at the Marriot Springhill Suites and just the breakfast alone was worth it.Guest review byCliffordUnited States - 10.0

We stayed at the Doubletree in Ifill in Aurora and it was a convenient location to the Wings Over the Rockies Museum (recommend), the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (recommend) and Stanley Marketplace (also recommend). Also, don't miss Blue Pan Pizza. We had the Detroit style pizza and I'm still thinking about it! Don't be put off by the crazy disinformation about Aurora. We had a lovely visit here and never felt unsafe.Guest review byAngelaUnited States - 8.0

Fort Collins has a vibrant city center with almost no shuttered businesses. There were plenty of decent restaurants (not so much the big Mexican one on the corner) and things to do and see. My first wife was from here but passed away in 1998. She would be shocked at how much this city has grown since our last visit in 1995. If I had to live in a city, I could do a million times worse. Also, for beer lovers like myself, there are many local beers to try and some are very good!Guest review byMarkUnited States - 10.0
Location is great!
Location is great! Close to dining options (Brothers Bar B Q is delish), right off of I25 but no traffic noise, which also made it easy to get to where we needed to be. Room spacious and clean. Pool area looked nice, although due to weather not able to use- Next time for sure as we will stay here again:)Guest review byCindyUnited States - 10.0
Pueblo is full of hidden gems.
Pueblo is full of hidden gems. The Spectacular train depot, downtown classic architecture-especially the county courthouse, the river walk, a charming historic downtown, Pueblo Lake State Park (one of the best in the state), the BEST city library I've ever seen and a really top-notch Art Museum/event center. and more. It has much going for it, and its people are special--friendly and caring. BTW- it has a Dairy Queen that is in the same location, with the same building and equipment from the 50's and makes awesome ice cream treats!Guest review byDavidUnited States
