This lovely hotel is in a great location just on the outskirts of Ljubljana, but it is soo easy to get to the town centre on the bus just up the road. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. All the areas of this hotel are spotlessly clean. We had a fantastic corner room which was huge, with sink and fridge and a kettle. There is complementary tea, coffee in reception area with water. The breakfast had a great and varied selectIon, it was lovely to have the option to eat outside as it was love and warm when we stayed. There is also a bar in the lobby area. There is a supernova shopping centre within a 5minute walk with a large Mercator, cinema, shops etc. It was so easy to get to the airport and took us 25 minutes. With free parking this is was an excellent choice. You can very easily use this hotel as a base to do day trips. (Which we will do in future) The hotel exceeded our expectations and we will book this hotel again when we return to Ljubljana.

    The room was great and everything was clean.

    The room was great and everything was clean. You can relax here, the location is not in the capital but if you want to explore everything you can stay there ... the road is connected to almost all of slovenia. the staff were courteous and friendly. they were very helpful against our needs... Thanks for all❤

    Slovenia is great.

    Slovenia is great. Alps on the east, mediterranean sea on the west, same country, distinctively different climate on each end of the country. Beautiful nature, castles, lovely valleys with rivers and waterfalls, unspeakably beautiful historic castles etc. We stayed in Domzale only, did not go out to the city, but the location is great. Just a stone's throw to the motorway and only 20min to the airport. Very convenient location

    Medvode is a small village at the confluence of the Sava and Sora rivers. Not much to visit in the village itself, but the village is located between Ljubljana and Bled, so it's a good base for traveling around (20 mins from Ljubljana, 30 from Bled, 1h to Bohinj lake.

    While we initially thought five days might be a long time...

    While we initially thought five days might be a long time for a short holiday, we quickly fell in love with the place and wished we could have stayed longer. There was so much to see and do. In addition to exploring the beautiful city of Ljubljana itself, the nearby lakes of Bled and Bohinj provided excellent opportunities to continue our adventure.

    Such a beautiful vibrant city.

    Such a beautiful vibrant city. Lots of restaurants, cafes and bars throughout the Old Town and along the river. Particularly enjoyed the Castle and Boat Trip. Will definitely come back and visit Ljubljana again, as well as spend more time in Slovenia. Wonderful country and lovely people. Recommend hiring a car so that you can drive out to other parts of the country, we loved Lake Bled.
