Beautiful restored village, we really enjoyed staying there. Beautiful swimming pool (heated!). Good quality breakfast and food at the restaurant.

Far, far away from everthing is perfect stay, and still progressing. The host was very kind and helpful, and we felt genuinely welcome. Overall, it’s a cozy, well-equipped, and nature-immersed stay, which we would gladly recommend to anyone looking for peace and authenticity on Flores Island. First things first. It is close to the airport. 15-ish minutes on foot. There is also a convenient parking lot next to the police station nearby. It is an ideal spot when you have a car and are planning to make trekking trips around the island. The town is fairly small, so there is no problem in finding it. Owner also sent me the photo of the alley and how to get in so it was no problem at all. I´ve never met the owner but he was really respectful and straightforward in his online communication, which I appreciate. The apartment had all the appliances, washing machine, stove, microwave. Bathroom had a bidet. Although when washing clothes, you have to hang the laundry outside the old way. (good luck with the weather!) What came as a really nice surprise was a heated massage chair and a tv with good internet connection. There is also a small pier right next to the apartment so you can just go look at the night sea before sleep. It is very serene and quiet during off season. And it is all just behind the kitchen window!
