The hotel is in a great location, and it's very clean and modern. The bed and bedding are SUPER COMFORTABLE and the service excellent. The amenities available are great as well, and the fitness center is also a huge plus! Breakfast is also amazing! The dinner restaurant is also great!

The staff were great... I ordered a taxi to take me to the airport at 11.45am... not only was it there slightly before the designated time, but the staff had already loaded my luggage... they also had the good sense to open the boot for me to ensure everything had been loaded... NICE!!!!

    Sebel Viaduct is very central and has a vibrant feel - close to the CBD surrounded with Bars and Restaurants- Our room was noisy-ventilation fans kept us awake all night - this hasn’t happened before on our stays but noisy this time - don’t stay in room 624!😱

    Plenty of places to visit, Museums and landmarks. We were there mostly for event at Sky Stadium But could have easily filled in a week. Plenty of eateries. Great bus service but easy to walk around anyway

    Taupo is for those that like to be outdoors.

    Taupo is for those that like to be outdoors. From the different walks that show off the thermal landscape, multiple mountain bike trails, boats tours and fishing on the lake and the wonderful lakeside walkway. The. For rhe kids you have multiple playgrounds, the Lions train in town, the lilliput animal park (wonderfully friendly owners), de Brett's spa park, accomodations with thermal pools, mini golf and it just goes on and on. 1 hour to rotorua, 30 minutes to Turangi and heaps of other places around and hour to two away. Taupo is a prefect holiday spot year round or a base for you central Noeth Island exploring as the Restaurant options and accomodation options quality are well above surrounding areas.

    Loved Field Days (went back an extra day), Hamilton Gardens...

    Loved Field Days (went back an extra day), Hamilton Gardens & Cafe - Big Breakfast is fantastic here, Furnace Steak Restaurant food and service were great. Use Google Maps to get around. All road works, accidents, rerouting - its all there. Fantastic. Couldn't have been easier.

    Napier is such a pretty city!

    Napier is such a pretty city! So many activities to do - or just walk along the walking paths, in the gardens or see the sites. The Aquarium or the museum are down the road from each other. You can hire a bike and bike along Marine Parade. Lots of eateries from cafes to restaurants. Sunday market is great - beautiful hot food available. Although it was winter when we stayed, the weather was still sunny although a little chill in the air. We watched two young boys park their bikes and run along the rocks with their fishing rods, throw their lines in and park up waiting for their catch! So cool.

    We were visiting family but New Plymouth is easy to get...

    We were visiting family but New Plymouth is easy to get around and theres lots of things to do if you have time. We went to the light show which was fantastic and we could walk to town from our apartment. Plenty of food places to pick from for any meal of the day. We walked along the wa;lway which was also great.

    We were in PN because of treatment at the hospital for...

    We were in PN because of treatment at the hospital for recently diagnosed cancer. On discharge from the hospital we choose to go to the cafe Thyme and Fig. We spotted a car park right outside the cafe. Perfect as my wife had a catheter in tow and was wearing her pyjama bottoms. When we had hydrated we decided to head home to Greytown. You guessed it- we got a parking fine. I'm afraid that soured our stay in PN. We were frassled and never thought about a parking infringement. There are no parking meters in Greytown so it certainly wasn't on our radar. I'm astounded that the fine is $70. That is steep for pensioners.

    National Park Village is a great jumping-off spot for skiing...

    National Park Village is a great jumping-off spot for skiing Whakapapa. It was easy to jump on a shuttle up to the ski field, grab some last minute gear from the local ski hire and we had a lovely apre-ski meal at a local restaurant (there were a couple of options to choose from). The petrol station/convenience store has everything you need for a short stay.

    It was a lovely fresh clean motel we were there for only one nite to attend a birthday celebration. When we got back to the motel it appeared the bed had been used as a couch and the $400 dollar bottle of parfum that was on the bed was gone. Strange we did not turn the tv on nor lie on the bed so it was rather obvious someone had when we saw it
