This review is of my stay in the Double Room in the new Pyramid Tower which I was upgraded to. The room was laid out and very comfortable - the mattress has just the right firmness, the duvet cover was cozy, and the 4 pillows provided a good night's sleep. There was ample space for storage and hanging your clothes. The writing desk extends to a coffee-and-tea corner with a mini-bar underneath. You can also store your valuables inside the safe that is tucked away in a corner of the wardrobe. The shower was spacious and the bathroom had everything that you would need save for a toothbrush. The hotel is understaffed in some areas due to its expansion. It is understandable to get a bad hire here and there, or some staff having a bad day due to the workload or personal reasons. It's not easy to smile and be friendly all the time, so I would like to thank the following personnel who stood out during my stay: 1. Ana at the Front Desk, who was friendly and patiently assisted me with all my inquiries. She personally showed me the different rooms that I was interested in booking for next year. 2. Alejandro at Restaurant Catedral, who was like a breath of fresh air. I'm glad that he was the one who was assigned to my table on my last day at the hotel because he made up for, shall we say, the vanilla experience that I've had with most of the staff. He came with a smile, was friendly, made eye contact each time, asked questions when he needed to clarify my order, and was patient instead of patronizing with my minor gaffes. He is a gem that the hotel should keep.

    I loved Coyoacán.

    I loved Coyoacán. So much to do and see here, and a pleasant respite from the center of Mexico City. I highly recommend this area for the tranquility and walkability, the markets and the parks. Mexico City has so much to see and do, there is something for everyone. I loved every minute of my stay. For food, you can go to the Michelin starred restaurants, but the street food is equally as good and you may have some good conversations while you are there. I didn't really enjoy the Centro Historico - it was way too crowded. But there are so many markets and places to visit, you can make Mexico City your own. You will need to return to continue to explore the wonders of the city.

    We had a so many great foods.

    We had a so many great foods. Compared to LA, cheap and fresh! We stayed Reforma area. There are cafes, restaurants, convenience stores and bars. We did some shopping and sightseeing. I was told summertime Mexico City, the air quality was bad. But everyday about 2 hours rain was cleaned air . So for me, the air quality is better than LA. There are public transportation... bus, train, subway, but local girls told us don't take public transportation, so we took taksi and uber. Uber is cheaper.
