Our stay at Triton Prestige Seaview & Spa in Maafushi was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and island charm. The sea-view rooms were stunning, the rooftop pool was a great place to unwind, and the spa treatments added a refreshing touch of relaxation to our trip. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Thode, who manages the entire property with genuine care and professionalism. His attention to detail and guest satisfaction was evident throughout our stay and set a truly welcoming tone for the entire experience. What truly stood out were the excursion tours and water sports arranged by the hotel. We went on several well-organized trips, including snorkeling adventures where we swam alongside sea turtles, colorful reef fish, and even reef sharks. The underwater visibility was amazing, and the guides were knowledgeable and attentive to safety. We also enjoyed kayaking over the calm, turquoise waters – a peaceful and scenic activity that let us explore the lagoon at our own pace. On the more adventurous side, we tried jet skiing, parasailing, and an exciting fun tube ride – all of which were handled by a friendly and professional team using high-quality equipment. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful reception staff who were always welcoming and ready to assist. Special appreciation to Iqbal and Asif, the restaurant waiters, for their attentive service and warm hospitality that made each meal feel special. And a big thank you to Head Chef Noor Muhammad, whose delicious and beautifully prepared meals truly elevated our dining experience. Triton Prestige didn’t just provide a place to stay – it delivered a full Maldives experience. From thrilling water adventures and memorable excursions to peaceful sunsets, amazing food, and heartfelt hospitality, everything was beyond expectations.

Our stay at Kaani Palm Beach Hotel was truly wonderful and exceeded our expectations in every way. The hotel is in the perfect location—right on the best bikini beach on Maafushi Island—with breathtaking ocean views that you never get tired of. Waking up to the sound of waves and having coffee with such a stunning backdrop was just magical. What really made our experience so memorable was the warm and welcoming staff, especially at the restaurant. From the very first day, Mr. MD Alom and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They always checked in with us during breakfast, not only to ensure we were enjoying the food but also to see how our day was going. That personal touch made all the difference. The atmosphere at the hotel is lovely—relaxed, friendly, and very comfortable. Whether it was the amazing beachside views or the genuine hospitality, every moment felt special. We would absolutely recommend Kaani Palm Beach to anyone visiting the Maldives, especially if you’re looking for a great location, kind staff, and beautiful surroundings. The hotel is very close to the ocean and has its own private "bikini" beach. The view from our room was spectacular! As for the room, the size was okay if you travel light, but with large suitcases it could possibly feel a bit crammed, but not an issue for us as we travelled with carry-ons only. As for the bed, super comfy in the premium double room with balcony and sea view (worth the extra money for the view and the very comfortable room and bed), and the air conditioning was also excellent, with good room temperature and very silent throughout. Service overall very good, from housekeeping/cleaning to the reception desk to the excursion team. Many thanks to all!

Breakfast is standard, and the house keeper is friendly, they try their best to fulfill your request. The place is strategic, few minutes walk to Bikini beach. The place is quiet, working air conditioner, but the fan is not working thats the only unfortunate, and the shower is acceptable, would be perfect if the pressure of the water can be stronger.

    Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced. One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and...

    I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

    It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach.

    It is a really peaceful island with a really nice beach. Beach has almost that resort level quality to it. Island is small, so besides water activities or some excursions, there is not much to do, so for some travelers it might get boring.

    Guraidhoo - ferry every day and easy to reach from Male, not so busy yet, not yet ugly concrete big buildings, bikini beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. White soft sand with turquoise warm water and sandy shore for fantastic swimming and walking on the sandbar - great for kids too, sunbeds and good cafe on the beach, there are corals and ship wreck for snorkeling and not to forget the shark feeding place - simply amazing to watch sharks and rays - great entertainment for the evening. There are great restaurants with fantastic prices. This island is amazing choice !

    Please ensure you book inclusive package as food and drink outside of the package will be expensive. Take mosquito repellents and your own shower gel, shampoos and conditioners. This is because the provision of shower items is not good at all. (They might as well say, shower items not provided). If you want clean rooms and showers, do NOT go here.

    I had an absolutely fantastic stay at South Male Atoll / SUN...

    I had an absolutely fantastic stay at South Male Atoll / SUN SIYAM OLHUVELI! It take 45 mins from MALE airport to the island by speedboat. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The level of service provided was impeccable, and every team member I encountered was professional, friendly, and attentive to details.

    Small but very nice bikini beach. unfortunately the island is much more dirty than other islands that we visited, a lot of plastic pollution which is just very sad. The choice of restaurants is not very big, but the Ayala one is just perfect.

    Its perfect for startup swimmers since it has shallow clear nice beach. Picture perfect and has a little sand bank just on the bikini beach that I liked most.. No housereef nearby..so no fish and coral..overall sandy clear water shallow beach..less shadow trees around..1/2 days trip will b perfect though, atleast better than mafushi..

    Biyadhoo is a perfect place for people who want an amazing...

    Biyadhoo is a perfect place for people who want an amazing Maldives experience at an affordable rate. The food was incredible. We gained so much weight in just 4 days. There was white sand, clean sea chairs to relax on, wildlife, and incredible staff. We also went for a beginners scuba diving experience and the instructor Rosa was beyond kind, patient, and wonderful. We had the best experience ever.
