Hondaafushi always a pleasure to go back, small improvements to the kitchen, you only need the certainty that the pier after the diving is open, otherwise snorkelling, impossible, very good guys from the beach pool, bar and restaurant room staff, all good and helpful, it must become a Family village, the only problem the few flights Male and airport nearby! Well, I expected this place to be clean, remote from Male, meaning more beautiful and I am happy I made a choice and came here. Absolutely beautiful. I booked full board and I don’t regret it. I had a good appetite during my holiday. The hotel times shifts to +1 hr, so prepare to not miss any of the meals. Breakfast 7:45-10:15, lunch 13:00-14:30 and dinner 20:00-21:30. There is plenty to choose from, vegetables and fruits, every dinner and lunch variety of fish and meat. For breakfast you can ask eggs and pancakes to be prepared. I really liked that it was not many people in hotel and it felt very cool. Sunbeds on the beach, take any. I had a double room with patio and I just had the one closest to the beach. Perfect! Bins for plastic and paper everywhere on the territory. I saw someone complained of going to the bar and get a drink, I thought that would be a problem but in reality it wasn’t. We could give the order and drinks were delivered. Anyways walking 2-3 minutes to the bar and to enjoy and view is never an issue. The area is in the forest so there are lots of trees and palm trees. I felt similar like in Bali in Ubud. Water is provided in the room, tea and coffee sachets. There are plenty of excursions provided by diving center, choose and go. I liked that hotel provided 2 times a week a complimentary snorkelling trip. Yoga in the morning is also free and you just need to make an effort to wake up) I didn’t really use a swimming pool as I was more attracted to the ocean but pool is nice. There is no alcohol as it is not allowed but there is a little boat with boat bar and you can go there in the evening at 18:00 and 21:30 and enjoy a drink or two or three. I also used laundry facilities.

Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, and the facility was spotless throughout our stay. I’d like to give special mention to the diving and snorkeling guides, Sucha and Azmeel. Both were not only professional but also exceptionally supportive and calming during the excursions. Our host, Zareer, was always available and went above and beyond to assist us—we couldn’t have asked for better service.
