Seoul is a big, modern city.
Seoul is a big, modern city. The traffic is heavy and daunting, so that it takes a long time to get relatively short distances from one attraction to another--like NYC. But, also like NYC, it has public busses and a metro, which we did not have time to master. From our point of view, Seoul's big attractions are its excellent (and free) museums, and its well-maintained historic architecture. On another trip to South Korea we would want to visit other historic cities like Busan.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States - 6.0

If you are a foodie or love the nightlife, I think Seoul would be for you. The subway system is easy to navigate once you get used to it. People on the street can be very helpful and friendly but, from my experience, market traders seem to be older, bitter people who don’t seem to want to sell to you. Driving also seems more aggressive than other countries.Guest review byIanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Seoul is a very beautiful and clean city.
Seoul is a very beautiful and clean city. The city's skyline, especially at night, is breathtaking. There are many malls and skyscrapers. My conference was held at the COEX Convention Centre, and the place is big and beautiful. I ate in its malls and had a wonderful time sampling Korean cuisine. As a scholar, I knew that the country is an Asian Tiger, but didn't expect that high level of development. However, It seems the city is a bit closed to Africans and blacks. In the week I spent there, I hardly met an African or black person in the malls or streets.Guest review byadenuga
