We came out to hike a glacier, see a few waterfalls, walk the beaches and then go to Westman Islands. We did all of this in 24 hours and this was not nearly enough. Really needed more time in each place and should have stayed an extra night to go explore a little further east!!Guest review byJenniferUnited States - 8.0
We enjoyed the cabin we stayed in.
We enjoyed the cabin we stayed in. The bedding was very nice and the kitchen perfectly stocked with dishes. The playground was fun. The office sells some camping supplies. There are not enough showers, only one for each gender. The kitchen/cooking area is bare bones. There are some nice tables inside. The staff was very helpful and kind.Guest review byK - 8.0

We stayed in a cottage several km from Selfoss, but went into Selfoss to eat and do grocery shopping etc. The town was fine, but it's not a tourist attraction. The country itself is the attraction, and it is amazing. Selfoss is perfectly located to explore it all.Guest review byGordonUnited States - 10.0

A small and quiet town between the capitol of Iceland and some of the main tourist sites. Right on the way to Skógafoss and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, and Diamond Beach. There is a street food truck run by a nice man and woman. Definitely check it out!Guest review byAbdullahUnited States - 10.0

Rooms are ok , with enough space, a small table and a chair, a small sink and a wardrobe. Toilets and showers are clean and practical and the kitchen is well equipped and big enough, there is also two more common areas, a room with some sofas and another one with tables for eating.Guest review byArdnas - 10.0

We loved how cozy this house was. We were able to cook and enjoy the beautiful views from every side of this house. It was close to glacier lagoon and a couple of nice restaurants. We went hiking up the mountain and watched the sheep. there is a lovely waterfall in the back as well. Loved our stay so muchGuest review byEmmanuel - 10.0
Great place in south of Iceland.
Great place in south of Iceland. The town of "flowers" is a good name for this place, as it is the warmest place in Iceland, where they grow flowers and enjoy life. It has the best swimming pool of the whole country, with an amazing "steam room" that is heated with steam straight from the vulcanic core of our planet.Guest review byJonastRussia - 10.0
A lovely change from Reykjavik and surrounds.
A lovely change from Reykjavik and surrounds. Beautiful scenery and more tranquil, although still lots of tourists. We did the Katla Ice Cave trip which was really interesting. About 2.5 hours drive from Reykjavik but worth it.Guest review byBrennan
