People in Montreal are very friendly.
People in Montreal are very friendly. They didn't mind us not speaking French. St Joseph oratory was a big surprise. They close at 8 PM and don't miss the sunset from the top. Must visit. We walked to old town from the hotel near the Grande Library in downtown. covered many spots including Wheel, Notra Dame , old town , clock tower and beach.Guest review byRajCanada - 10.0

I stayed for 3 nights in the heart of Quebec City, very close to the Port and Old Town. Quebec City is charming. You could be in Paris for all you know. Old town is amazing. Architecture , food and bars are great and its very walkable, clean and safe,Guest review bySteven Penn-BerkeleyUnited States - 10.0
The hotel is old, but clean and quaint.
The hotel is old, but clean and quaint. The rooms are modern. I had one of the smallest, most reasonable rooms and it was perfect for a good night's rest on our bike ride along the P'Tit Tain du Nord rail trail. The restaurant in the Hotel is open 9AM - 9:30PM but we were back on the trail too early to get breakfast there.Guest review byWarrenCanada - 10.0
You have to learn French. Seriously.
You have to learn French. Seriously. I repeat, you have to learn a lot more French than the survival French you think you are good with. They speak so fast. They understand your shitty French but you don't understand them. Townspeople are very nice people. Bring coins for bus. Transit App may not work. Cell signal is bad sometimes. Take a paper map for free at Bureau Tourisme. Taxi is shit. Read Google reviews. Uber is unavailable, the app will try to match you with a driver then tell you there is a bug or error or no driver.Guest review byChunyangCanada - 8.0

Nice place to stop. If you have kids pool is nice. We ate breakfast at Hotel Levesque at La Griffe dining. Breakfast is always good. We ate once at Hotel Universal but the service was poor to English customersGuest review byBethCanada - 10.0
Dorval Airport: Easy to navigate. Helpful staff.
Dorval Airport: Easy to navigate. Helpful staff. Clean and fresh. Cleaning staff were cleaning, not just pushing equipment around, they were busy doing their job. The bus service from the airport into the city is excellent. Other airports could benefit from a similar system.Guest review byGwendolynCanada - 8.0
Beautiful scenery.
Beautiful scenery. Parking is much too expensive, but the town is small enough to walk everywhere. The whales didn't show up. For a tourist town, too many signs are French only with no English translations!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The Cape Shrine is a beautiful and tranqualizing pilgreamge place. The Le Temps D'une Pinte is a good place to finish the day with good food, good local beers, and good service. Unfortunately and fortunately, we expereinced the first snow of the year and so could not go on foot to enjoy the history of the buildings in the downtown area, but then the snow added the beauty to the city.Guest review byLOUIS YAN HINHong Kong - 10.0

Gatineau has a long history as the entertainment centre for dull-after-dark Ottawa. Did not fail this tme as the Duvernay is near Gatineau centre- bars and restaurants, fabulous Canadian history museum, a pleasant walk across the river to centre of Ottawa, much more reasonable accommodationGuest review byDennisCanada - 10.0

We stated 2nights only so we didn't have time to explore much and the weather wasn't cooperating. Next time, we would stay longer but probably in the Gaspe area so we can be closer to the hiking trails.Guest review byJohn E.Canada
