This place is magical.
This place is magical. This review is specially for summer visitors. Everyone should visit this place at least once. Surrounding beaches and villages are breathtaking. Gondola ride is a must. View from the gondola ride wouldn’t leave you 5 minutes after you sleep. View of Georgian lake from the hills is more than stunning. The whole village and surroundings are landscaped to the max . Night vibe is impeccable. Stunning restaurants and breweries will never leave you hungry. I may visit this place another ten thousand times if I can. And a drive to Thornbury is like cherry on a cake !! Hike on blue mountain is better than hike on yellow brick road !! The only suggestion I have is making the parking lots in front of the village more green and with lots of cedar trees !!Guest review byJosesph - 10.0
We enjoyed our visit to Collingwood very much.
We enjoyed our visit to Collingwood very much. The well preserved older buildings, the fact that newer buildings are made to match the older buildings and there aren't any really tall buildings there, allowing a great view of the sky everywhere you are. The Museum provided a great and very interesting history of Collingwood. The Village is a must see. The view going down the hill from the Scenic Caves is second to none! We found everyone in the town to be so friendly. Great restaurants, trails, parks, waterfront - you have it all, Collingwood! Please continue to take care of it and preserve as you always have been doing!Guest review byMaryCanada - 10.0
Meaford is a hidden gem.
Meaford is a hidden gem. They have the beautiful harbour, walking trails, new library, great shops, restaurants and Meaford Hall with first rate entertainment. If you are lucky to be there on market day check out the local fresh produce, crafts and butter tarts. Check out The Red Door Pub and The Dam Pub for great food. Tilleys has an awesome breakfast and really reasonable. In fact I don't know how they keep their prices so affortable. You can walk everywhere and with the price of gas that is wonderful. We ate well during our stay but we walked off those extra calories. The people around town were amazingly friendly. Be proud Meaford.Guest review byRobertCanada - 10.0
It was amazing!
It was amazing! Thank you for everything Lisa, we left with our hearts broken because we didn’t have time to stay longer! You and the girls are incredible, we are very grateful to have found your accommodation.Guest review byAnonymousBrazil - 8.0
The accommodations were better than expected.
The accommodations were better than expected. Beautiful decor and extremely clean. Spacious with two largely rooms and a view plus a large private bathroom! Comfy bed, perfect heating, hardwood floors and character everywhere! 12” baseboards, Victorian trim around doors and windows all in pristine condition. Victorian tin ceilings on the main level. Views from breakfast room and our bedroom on a picturesque pond and hills and a horse farm. Josline was fantastic, a wonderful lady with a warm welcoming spirit! Very helpful! 8 klms to Thornbury. We ate at Fabbrica there and the food was gourmet. We were on the covered heated patioGuest review bychrisCanada - 8.0

Loved the outdoor heated pool and outdoor heated hot tub it was actually hot. loved being outside. Loved the close proximity to the village and all the shops and food. Was so pretty to see the ski hill and the people skiing. Nice time spent with family no driving needed all weekend unless you want to go into Collingwood to see the cute shops. Lots of fun had by all.Guest review byMaryCanada - 10.0
I love Collingwood.
I love Collingwood. The charm of the architecture in the retail section, the ease of driving and exploring, and the food! Such great food options in this town. Try Heavenly Cafe for incredible croissants (cleverly disguised as French Toast if you make that selection) and other truly artistic baked goods. Tesoro for Italian and Prime79 for steak were our dinner destinations and both were absolutely fantastic. 10/10. Lunch at Fig & Feta was also really good. 1858 Caesar Bar has every Caesar possibility you can imagine - or had never even thought of. I'll definitely be returning to enjoy the town and continue working my way through the restaurant opportunities. The retail section carries refreshingly unique, quality items.Guest review byShelleyCanada - 8.0

its Blue Mountain, beautiful scenery and lost of hiking and or skiing in the winter, however, prices are a bit higher here. Lots of places to eat, lots of attractions. If you are willing to spend the money, you will have fun.Guest review byNancyCanada - 10.0
The location was perfect, and easy to get around.
The location was perfect, and easy to get around. We loved the friendly staff. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub. We enjoyed the pizza from Firehall Pizza Company and the Ham & Cheese Pita from Pita Pit. We enjoyed hanging out at Rusty's and going on the Monster Coaster and Snow Tubing was also a blast. The rooms were not very clean, but they were large with nice decor and a fully equipped kitchen including appliances and very comfortable beds.Guest review byTamikaUnited States
