We’ve been coming to Austria for over 20 years now, and working in luxury hospitality, we’re very picky! Well….there is nothing to be picky about Grand Tirolia. Flawless stay from A to Z. From the upgrade at check in (we booked through Booking) to the lovely staff and the great service. A special Thank you to Raji and his exceptional concierge service. And to Alexandru who was always willing to help. The hotel is spotless clean having undergone an extensive renovation. Food is out of this world-all produce is sourced locally. Spa is lovely (separate adults only and family spas!) and Edmund is very nice! The view is dreamy and we loved the fact that it’s 4 km away from the city center. We didn’t come to the mountains to stay downtown :) Best choice we could have made, happy to have found our home away from home. We will be back every year!

The wellness facilities are simply outstanding. The spa area offers a serene atmosphere, with a stunning pool, a variety of saunas, and relaxation zones that are perfect for unwinding after a day spent exploring. Every detail in the wellness area is thoughtfully designed to enhance the experience of peace and rejuvenation. My room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and exceptionally comfortable. The modern yet cozy design, combined with panoramic views of the snow-covered Alps, created a dreamy retreat. The quiet and calm ambiance allowed me to fully relax and recharge. The hotel restaurant was an absolute highlight of my stay. Each meal was a delightful experience, from breakfast filled with fresh, local specialties to creative and beautifully presented dinners.     What I like about Kitzbühel is that it is elegant and glamorous, as well as relaxing and comfortable. You don’t need to rush anywhere, everything is close by. One is pampered by the local hospitality, which is a great feeling. The Alps around Kitzbühel are also elegant and cosy, not to mention great skiing conditions, about which everyone knows.

    A nice place with views and open spaces.

    A nice place with views and open spaces. We only went to have dinner in one other restaurant in Reith, Tischler's, and were disappointed: overpriced, a tourist trap. We had excellent snacks in Geiringer Weiher and Steghaus on Schwarzsee.

    Small village beside ski lift, a couple of restaurants, a bar on the slop and several hotel/apartment houses. Skiing starts directly from the centre of village, and in summer, I believe, there are many nice paths to see the nature.

    A beautiful location in the middle of the mountains.

    A beautiful location in the middle of the mountains. We went skiing and walking in the mountains. Food and drink expensive in the town and even more expensive on the mountain. A very upmarket feeling. Definitely a playground for the rich. Designer shops everywhere. very clean town and a delight to walk around.

    Kitzbuhel is like a medieval town, a luxury resort, but also for people with a lower budget. The ski bus public transport is very well organized to the minute. Very clean town with many mountain trails to the surrounding towns or up with the gondola to admire some amazing landscapes, chairlift rides.
