A great base for visiting the Cotswolds with no shortage of things to see and do in the city itself. Wonderful choice of restaurants and entertainment, fabulous architecture and great shopping. I will definitely be back.Guest review byMaryCanada - 8.0

Gloucester itself (especially Gloucester Quays area) is very nice. Historic and interesting with lots of great eatery options (highly recommend Greek on the Docks or Hetty’s Place). Lots of parking, mostly pay parking.Guest review byLeaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

it is a delightful town with good shopping and the Corinium Museum is a model of how a local museum should be. Thousands of items showing the history of the town from prehistoric times, through its peak of importance during the Roman occupation, to present day, all beautifully displayed and clearly explained. Definitely worth a detour!Guest review byNigel - 6.0
As a village Bourton on the Water, was the most busy.
As a village Bourton on the Water, was the most busy. We did not spend a lot of time in the village, only did half a day there, and went twice for dinner. However, the restaurants were full and it is highly recommended to book beforehand. The other villages were more quiet and we enjoyed longer strolling there and having lunch and coffees.Guest review byFionaMalta - 10.0
The accommodation was excellent.
The accommodation was excellent. The apartment was very well located right near the main square & in the main shopping area. The apartment was furnished superbly and included seperate kitchen/dining area and well appointed small lounge sitting area in addition to the main bedroom and bathroom. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone I knew who was visiting the Cotswolds in England.Guest review byJenniferAustralia - 10.0

Chipping Campden is a picture-perfect Cotswold town, rich in history, charm, and natural beauty. Its iconic High Street, lined with honey-coloured stone buildings, is one of the most beautiful in England. With welcoming pubs, artisan shops, and links to the Arts and Crafts Movement, it’s full of character and creativity. Surrounded by stunning countryside and close to gardens like Hidcote and Kiftsgate, it's a haven for walkers and nature lovers. Peaceful, picturesque, and timeless — Chipping Campden is the perfect escape to the English countryside.Guest review byTomás MooreIreland - 10.0
Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town.
Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town. There’s a market there on Tuesdays. Great places to eat gorgeous fish and chip bar. The black bear Inn fantastic food. Bellini Italian restaurant fantastic. Stay away from the Thai restaurant (SIAM COTTAGE THAI) cold food which we waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for. Service below poor. Plus if you order soft drinks (J2O) they share the bottle between 2 glasses and charge for 2. We used go guide to see around the Cotswolds Elaine the guide was fabulous we visited many places Bourton on the water, Snowshill where Bridget Jones (first one) was filmed, chipping Campden, Cirencester - Bibury etcGuest review byBrendaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Lovely places to eat - lovely country views - travelled by bicycle. Lots of hills so at times you have to walk it but we enjoyed ourselves. Travelled by train would recommend making reservations for your bicycles. Ate at Egypt Mill, Casa Sabor and The Bear at Rodborough and loved the food at the Five Valleys. Recommend the Ice Cream shop called Whinstones which has been there for 100 years.Guest review byBashiraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely place to visit, The Abbey is a must, a walk around the back streets is recommended, so many old houses & buildings, I don't think any of them had a proper even roof , The walk along the river is lovely, some very nice coffee shops on the way, some over looking the river, so very leisurely, I would say the only downside we found was the amount of traffic on the main road , so make sue to use the crossings.Guest review byKenUnited Kingdom - 10.0
